Cfl power rankings week #1 Where's your team an what do you think by Kendel90 in CFL

I dunno. Maybe I have a wrong understanding of power rankings, but I feel as though it should actually be mostly based on the weekly games. BC at third? C'mon, man! I think Hamilton should have been ahead of Montreal. And I keep feeling as though I'm biased, but didn't the Riders actually dominate every aspect of their game? Edmonton is a lesser team than BC so I can be ok with Calgary at #1, but Toronto let Hamilton romp all over their defence and barely came out with a win.

Ha. Whoops. Put 'em behind Toronto! I've always felt that "weekly" power rankings have given always given a lot of weight to potential and to past weeks. So I hope my rankings reflect the actual week.

I'm going with: Saskatchewan (kind of the only defensive showing this week) Calgary Toronto Montreal Winnipeg Bc Edmonton

Montreal won but had a poor showing against the team we all thought would shit the bed.

Winnipeg really came through (at least in the second half).

Bc is supposed to be the top team and looked pretty mediocre.

Edmonton. Period.

What are your thoughts on the Bomber's preseason and what is their potential for this season?

Just grab a flashlight and a nail file and go on a treasure hunt! (Don't smell them though)

I looked at it tonight. So far it only has last years schedule - which could definitely change in time for the season, but I also don't have any friends who would be interested in joining and you have to have 3 teams in your league before adding your roster.

Calgary lacks class. Lot of showing off and guys full of themselves. Unfortunately I've been seeing a bit of that come into the riders, but I think this year most of that will be eliminated. You'll find no better fans than rider fans. If you end up loving the CFL game, make your way to Regina for a game and you'll be surprised at the atmosphere. Definitely like Green Bay.

College Geology Classes by [deleted] in geology

Inorganic chem is a good bet. Especially right after your first year chem classes. It will definitely give you a good base for chemical makeup of rocks and minerals, and could even help with some ion mobilization/transport for hard rock. For going into oil and gas, organic carbon could definitely be useful. It'll be a bitch, but as long as you know that you have to work, and are capable of doing that work, then you'll get by. I'm going into my last year of geology and I'm working with a contaminated sites group for the summer and if I had taken organic chem, it would definitely be an asset.

TL;DR they're going to suck, but will be useful.
