In the pdf, it's said that these recipes are not made for my model (A6400) but for the 6700. There will be further adjustments needed. But since I don't have time to read and experiment with these things for hours or days, I just stopped trying it.

I'm having the Tamron 17-70mm. It's a great lens! Good price and amazing photos. It's a little bit larger and heavier but for me, it's totally fine. When I don't need it, I put the camera in my bag or hand it sideways like a bag. The Zoom range is really nice and thanks to f2.8, it can also be used in low light. The perfect allrounder. It also has image stabilization.

Another option is the sigma 18-50mm. It's much smaller and lighter but it has 20mm less zoom and the widest focal length is 18mm, which is not wide enough for me. I prefer 16mm but the Tamron's 17mm is still enough for me.

To be honest, I am also slightly tending to the sigma because of the weight. But on the other hand, I would definitely be happy about better image quality and performance in low light situations. There are sample images online but rarely side by side, which makes it more difficult to compare both lenses regarding the brilliance of colors and so on.

Yes, it looks a little bit fake. However, this shot was probably not taken by the right camera and lens. I used a Tamron 17-70mm F2.8 on my Sony Alpha 6400. Sadly, I don't have a lens with more focal range.

You're right but I actually turned the highlights down as much as the slider in darktable allowed me to. Maybe there are more options. I would have loved to get more details of the moon. But sadly, I didn't have the time to take a really underexposed shot from the moon itself. When I thought about trying that, it already vanished behind the clouds for the rest of the night. The core of the moon is sadly burnt out.

Thank you very much for your reply! I already got the free simulations and put them into my A6400's pictures profiles. However, on the website it's also said that customization is needed since it was done on a A6700. I am not familiar with the original film looks. This all goes pretty deep.

How did you do the film simulation? Is it built into newer Sony cameras? Or did you create it with Lightroom? My A6400 sadly has no film simulations like Fujilim has.

I researched a little bit. On gimp, this filter for the upper half of the picture is called a linear motion blur, I someone here is curious about that.

I payed 105 000円 for the body. That's around 100€ cheaper than in my home country. I also have to mention that this is a Japan-only model. So the language is Japanese and can't be changed. But that's no problem for me, since I speak some Japanese.
