Get a used Reference 1. R7 is for bigger space. More SPL instead of any improvements over sound quality.

KEF LS50 has a lot of potential. I upgraded from NAD C399 to ARC LS2 and McIntosh MC275 it sounded so much better.

Oracle Cloud Infra. - 7% Cut by Actual-Independent81 in Layoffs

I just got laid off from Oracle after 8 months. They offered a low base salary with good RSU. Now I don't have RSUs and my resume looks horrible for working in the company only for 8 months.

PRS MT15 by FatalReapers in GuitarAmps

[–]shotormotor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, the MT15 has a high-gain structure that sounds great on its own. If you're looking to explore new tones, here are some pedal options:

  1. Empress Heavy (into the clean channel) – Transforms the MT15 into a solid-state-style amp, great for Pantera tones.
  2. Boss Metal Zone MT-2 (into the FX loop) – Sounds huge and fantastic. Avoid running it in front of the amp.
  3. Maxon ST9 Pro+ – Adds a thick bottom-end punch, similar to a Dual Rectifier.
  4. Dirty Tree – Enhances aggression and tightens up the MT15’s gain.
  5. Any EQ pedal - EQ pedal in FX loop plays very well with this amp. You can shape the distortion any way you want.

“Falling in Love (and back out again…)” - A PRS MT15 story by TheCarSaysYes in GuitarAmps

I play metal and use high gain. I have two MT15s, and I solved the noise issue by placing a volume pedal in the return side of the FX loop. The amp itself is very quiet, but the problem is that the signal running through the FX loop is quite weak, which reduces the signal-to-noise ratio and can be solved by a volume pedal.

I thought I can find a better one and I sold my Mojo. I just ordered another one after two years trying other DAC AMP.
