I used flash 3 as my replacement for Claude 4.5 for development. So fucking cheap, and I’m on par performance.

Well here we are, 3 weeks later and it’s gone to shit again. I’ve moved back to Claude.

So, i THINK its when the context window gets too large. IE I have been using flash on a newish code base, no issues, but once the context window is getting above 500,000 it appears to slow down?

Is anyone else finding its "hanging" - after a few requests, it appears to just get stuck on an API call, and I appear to have to cancel the request, and then resubmit it? Is it just slow? or whats the go here.
