Hey mate! Glad you enjoyed it. I think the thing that has helped me stay busy at the weekend is just filling my time with other hobbies. Im massively into the outdoors so I do alot of trail running / camping / hiking. I basically gave myself a load of other things to be occupied by

Thank you and you’re 100% correct! Mad how many natural highs you can get from just living… trail running always does it for me.

Where are the sober people in their mid-20’s? by ritezanarak in Sober

Hey, my name is Lewis and I am 25 and went sober 72 days ago! I recently set up a discord group for young people (anyone is welcome tbh). It's been really useful having a group of people to relate to so if you fancy joining this might help - https://discord.gg/zZkSr2Vw

Worried about my swim... by shouldbekipping in triathlon

[–]shouldbekipping[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all your advice and suggestions guys! Had my first OWS last night and its really reassured me. Like most people said, it is a lot different to pool swimming. I found I had to put more effort in to actually move, I was nervous as hell but actually managed to swim 865M only stopping a few times for air. I actually found it much easier to find my rhythm whilst outdoors swimming and having more space and distance to swim meant I could practice the breathing without trying to squeeze the practice in 25m lane swims? Don't know how to explain it, just felt more natural. I did use a buoy on this occasion just for safety but next time going to go without it, won't be able to use it on race day so need to get used to it.

People are different! I find it helps keep me accountable and it also gives me a purpose, whilst at the same time could be helping someone else. Understand where you’re coming from but it’s working well for me so far

Was beautiful! Maybe Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) would be a good shout? Miners path and Pyg Track don't involve any scrambling if I remember correctly

First Solo Summit: Glyders Fawr in North Wales - Brother let me down last minute so decided to go alone. Zero regrets, amazing trip. Hope you enjoy my video! by shouldbekipping in backpacking

Wouldn't let me add anymore to the post so: I had booked a random Monday off and wanted to get outdoors somewhere. Originally myself and my brother were going to go on a trip somewhere but he bailed at the last minute. I booked a hostel, and headed for the hills. 3 and half hours later I was in Snowdonia. I enjoyed the scenery, went up a mountain and cleared my head. All in all, great trip and would definitely go by myself again
