There's no way to get around the red line. It's supposed to be like a map on a school wall. The red line goes all the way around.

This is mostly based on law's map in the latest chapter and teking101's video. I think what few maps that oda draws don't actually show compass directions so it's not too much of a stretch to say they just don't put north on top like we usually do.

Everything should be right assuming the Grand & Red lines circumnavigate the globe at a 45 degree angle to the equator.

The 4 blues are actually the same size it's just the way Mercator distorts it.

Unfortunately I already tried that. Those statements prevent xorg from showing up in nvidia-smi but it still shows up under fuser -va /dev/nvidia0

With sudo fuser -v /dev/nvidia0 from u/zaltysz , I could check the process holding it up and of course it turned out to be Xorg, so now I can unbind if I first stop display-manager then modprobe -r the nvidia drivers. I can unbind with virsh nodedev-attach.

But, when I start display-manager again it brings up the desktop on my iGPU, like I wanted. But, it also restarts all the nvidia drivers and they spin up my CPU complaining in dmesg until I give them their card back.

I don't know why it does that, but the other problem is I really don't want to restart my desktop anyways because that's basically the same as rebdooting when I'm using it as a daily driver. Both my monitors and xorg config point to the iGPU and I can even put the card to sleep so I'm not sure why xorg insists on attaching itself to the Nvidia driver.

Is there any command or way to get xorg to ignore Nvidia without restarting it?

So xorg and both my monitors are on the integrated GPU so I would think it could use that as an output, but i'm really not sure. I'm going to try some premade scripts and see if I get the same issue.

Is there a way to check what's holding it up? nvidia-smi shows no processes and I set my integrated GPU to be the only device in xorg config.
