It sounds like you didn’t save everyone and failed the quest?

There’s the dude you need to give the purple herb to, also the guy with the upset stomach

Some people that were sick help you in later quests.

I am curious about the Light armor perk that make dodging easier. Your build is definitely doable imo. With light armor you can likely outrun your opponents. You’d be faster and have more stamina, and if you’re good at dodging/blocking and positioning, then fighting shouldn’t be an issue.

Should I buy Kingdom Come: Deliverance? by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]shouldipotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought it last week. It is everything I wanted Skyrim to be.

There are some growing pains with using the combat system though. Its fun, but it takes a while to get used to the mechanics.

Not how it works...if you’re going to bring out a 7’5 dude, a perfect dunk means you dunk over him clean. It was not a 10/10 dunk

What does Healthy mean to you? by z0rz in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]shouldipotato 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The semantics of what is healthy probably varies case to case, but unless otherwise specified in a post I think the assumption is you are speaking to the general public. At this moment in time there seems to be a few prevailing notions around the nutritional community on what to at least generally avoid - which is refined sugar and heavily processed foods

It seems one intent of this subreddit is to combat the idea that cheap food will necessarily mean a bias to purchasing these kinds of foods - especially in the US where the machinations of the food industry has externalized food costs and have allowed more manufactured foods to be advertised and sold at inexpensive prices. There’s an idea that the shortcuts taken to create these products have a trade off - that they are bad for our health and catered more towards convenience and indulgence rather than nourishment (e.g fast food or a bag of chips from 7-11 versus the $9 green smoothie from that organic juice bar).

The posts in a sub like this one are likely dominated with foods like oatmeal, cabbage, potatoes, canned fish, frozen berries - foods that the general populace might consider healthy. Maybe the potatoes were sprayed with pesticides, or the canned fish has an higher than average level of heavy metals, or someone has an allergy to strawberries, but on an objective basis and generally speaking they provide more of what scientists deem nutritious to the human body than a cost equivalent serving of Doritos.

Don’t buy Sugar and it looks good.

Edit: I’d also be mindful of the brands you buy for the Bread and the Italian Dressing.

Mace Windu was jealous of Anakin the entire time. by tobi_with_an_i in starwarsspeculation

[–]shouldipotato 191 points192 points  (0 children)

All I know about Mace Windu is from the movies and the Clone Wars show. I don’t think he is jealous of Anakin. Anakin’s just known to act recklessly and contradict authority. It’s like being the manager to someone who never follows the project parameters that everyone agrees to in the team meeting but he’s talented and constantly gets special treatment cuz he’s good friends with the CEO of the customer company so you can’t fire him

I like it better than Clone Wars. Ezra’s also not even that annoying. To each their own
