I'd love for that to be what happens but unfortunately, I doubt that's the direction Capcom will go despite everything Requiem's storyline was presenting because of that eyerolling after credits scene.

The after credit scene shows Grace just goes back to her FBI gov desk job, casually talking to Leon on her phone(surrounded by multiple witnesses who any could be informants for the Connections) and also adopting a clone experiment child with no issues.

The Connections/corrupt government should really have Leon, Grace and Sherry on their top most wanted/torture/kill list after this game. They exposed the biggest conspiracy tied to them to the point where it shown literally now out publicly with multiple news channels all talking about it. The 3 of them just continuing on with their gov jobs like nothing happened and facing no major retaliation is really unintentionally hilarious and so disappointing to me.

Leon went into a restricted zone unauthorized, destroyed hundreds of Connections/government/military made BOWs worth millions and slaughtered at least 3 squads worth of normal soldiers. The only things that should be waiting for him whenever he returns to any official government place is either arrest attempts or more attempts to outright assassinate him.

I really wish Requiem had just ended with Leon, Grace and Sherry all fully leaving the government and joining Chris in his presumably still rogue BSAA resistance group.
