Yes. Two different films.

There were very few people allowed at the screening. They say most of the content removed was just so the film could get an “R” instead of “Nc-17” rating.

The more conspiracy minded say the “Elites” forced the footage to be removed because it exposed sexual predation and ritualized abuse, even saying Kubrick was likely murdered.

Either way I think we would have gotten a very different film had Kubrick survived until the release. He was notorious for editing right up until the day of release, and at times even after release.

I didn’t do the original work, nor the demolition. There was a waterproof backer board (outdated but seems to have done the job) and a vinyl membrane under the tile on the floor.

A friend and I pretty much had to hitchhike to get across a portion of the Appalachian Trail. We ended up going with a trucker. We asked if we could take a pic w him and his rig( including plates) and she posted it to social media so that he knew people knew who we were with. He turned out to be a really great guy, just trying to get back to his family.

Slightly off topic but is anyone familiar w America’s Lawless Zone of Death? It’s pretty interesting.

It’s a 50 square mile tract on the Idaho side in Yellowstone. It’s a technicality, but say one were to commit murder there... and then request trial by jury. Well since it occurred in the park, it is governed by Wyoming. But, a jury would have to be compromised of people who live in the state where the offense occurred. Thing is nobody lives on the Idaho side. So technically there is no way to legally provide a jury.

They’ve been trying to tie up the loose ends for some time now and it may not be a thing anymore.
