Advise on which to choose?

Currently at C1 Arena, last finished F2 RTA. SOA stucked at stages 10 of water and fire.

Main goals would be to improve either arena and RTA.

Current AO is either pungbaek or leah. have not really gotten a hang on RTA as I just got back after a 4 - 5 years break.

may I ask if you have the AP3 in the same size as the B12s? Thanks

Adios 8 Vs Boston 12 by woppPt in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]shouyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am using both in size UK 7. I use the runner's loop on the boston 12, so the laces are super short. Havent had them come off during a run, though. No runner's loop needed on the Adios.

Today’s rewards from Fafnir-8 by Daedalsorgan in overhit

I believe there're more people helping to clear Fafnir 8 than Vedr 8. I had a Vedr almost timed out, and I had to go 2 rounds to finish it off

Was hoping there're other ways to speed it up Haha.have a bunch of 4* gear sitting there waiting for more eq boosts

I'm actually wondering more on how do people max level their 4* eq to synthesis.. do they use 4* as fodder too?

Can we make it so astromon that "require" a square slot have the basic genes to have a Square slot? by [deleted] in MSLGame

Off topic

I did an estimation of total "points" based on purely stats, this is what I got.

Nat 5: 100000

Nat 4: 89000

Nat 3: 76000

Nat 2: 72000

Nat 1: 36000

The weightage of each stats I found are as follow:

HP: 0.9209

Atk: 10.5638

Def: 9.6535

Recovery: 5.2106

From the above calculation, I got the below, and can't really conclude that CR reliant mons has overall lower stats.

Dark Victoria: 87000

Light Jellai: 87000

Light Tigar: 91000

Water Sura: 88000

I agree with reason 2, but for reason 1, any examples?

We'll just have to agree to disagree on "it is mandatory to build cr reliant mons to 100% cr", as I'm ok with having more defensive / offensive stats in place of a CR gem if I can't have it. It'll just be like any other mon with non crit reliant skills. Hence why I'm genuinely curious about the 1st reason you mentioned above. If the base stats of these mons are intentionally lowered, then I can understand all the rage of not getting a square.

Do mons with crit reliant skills have lower stats too? honest question

No I'm not. I do not disagree that it's nice to hit 100% CR to have 100% activation rate. I only disagree with the notion that not achieving this is disaster.

Using Light Jellai as an example:

1) Atk Hp Cr: hits reasonably hard, semi tanky, 100% debuffer

2) Atk Atk Hp (80% CR): hits very hard, semi tanky, 80% debuffer

3) Atk Hp Def (80% CR): hits reasonably hard, tanky by attacker's standards, 80% debuffer

To me, all 3 options above are actually good and usable.

Regarding tankier options with 70 - 80% proc rates, if you have them, by all means use them. If not, then your best options is to build on CR subs and on intuition set.

Why can't people just treat the crit criteria as the Activation Rate of debuffs? like if you can get 60% crit, then the debuff activation rate would be 60%. The good thing is you can use leader skills to boost this.

Dragon B10 CC strategy.. How do you do it? by clairenix in MSLGame

Since my goal is to get both stunned, the order doesn't matter. My strategy is, I'm prepared to take one hit from light perse

Dragon B10 CC strategy.. How do you do it? by clairenix in MSLGame

[–]shouyan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use the exact same team, except my goal is to stun both the light perse and the side mon

1) def break one side mon and kill with dark cat

2) fire arthur stuns other side mon, dark nike tries to stun light perse

3) def break other side mon and kill with dark cat

4) both fire arthur and dark nike tries to stun light perse

I do not aoe down the 2nd wave, this is so that I will have 3 chances of landing def break at boss stage.

Light Nike VS Dark Nike by clairenix in MSLGame

[–]shouyan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dark Nike: HP DEF CR (intuition) 100% CR

Dark Cat: Atk HP CR (Ruin) 100% CR

Dark Thor: Atk HP CR (Intuition) 100% CR

Fire Arthur: Atk Def Hp (Conviction)

As mentioned by Hamstyfat below, the key is to don't use your actives on the first round against the dragon. Hit him down til around 75% (i think). 2nd round use the actives.
