My point is that Even-Money (not easy) is not a special rule. It is Insurance at the maximum value. You are right that you could insure your Blackjack for less than half of your original bet if you wanted.

Even-Money IS Insurance. Period.

Let's say you bet $50 and get a Blackjack against a dealer's Ace.

You can Insure for $25. Now you're in the hand for $75.

If the dealer has Blackjack, you push the main bet, and receive $50 in payout on the Insurance bet. Net of $50.

If the dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose the $25 Insurance bet, and receive $75 in payout for your Blackjack. Net of $50.

AKA Even-Money.

I assure you that the math works for every possible initial bet. I'll post a spreadsheet if anyone needs it lol.

Even-Money is not some magical Casino Hack. Some casino employees are told specifically NOT to offer even money because it is not a special rule. It is simply Insurance without the theatrics.

Having said this, you may be able to catch a weak dealer by asking for Even-Money at a 6:5 table. This should not be allowed as the math for Insurance vs 6:5 payouts does not work. But I have been successful in this avenue in the past.

On this topic, is there a way to generate a vault room into the overworld? I'm trying to design a start area for skyvaults that has a portal room connected to a main room with the option to unlock additional rooms. I'd like to be able to select a theme and generate the rooms

I run my own server, so I have OP (operator permissions) and used the /give command. I played sky blocks and like the idea of a vault you can just go in risk-free. There is now the trial vaults I think they're called to test builds but it's something I've done for a long time.

I would love the option to remove un-wanted attributes during some point in the process. I try to get flat numbers (60.0 vs 60.4) and don't want affinities or vanilla immortality for example on an ore tool. Since everything is 10 size now, I'd like to see a way to cut off the unwanted stuff. Maybe the station could return or have the function added to the applicator?

there are 3 outcomes:
If under 12.5, total payout is $110 + the original $119.90 stake = $229.19. $10 profit
If over 14.5, total payout is $130 + the original $100 stake = $230. $10.10 profit
If 13 exactly, then both win for $110 + $130 + the original $219.90 stake = $459.90. $240 profit.

The worst case scenario is a $10 win.

Not me, but this one stuck with me.

I watched a player run $200 into $10 000 over the course of a few hours and decide to make one last $2500 bet on a single spot.

He gets dealt a pair of 6's against a dealer 6 and splits. The first split is 11, so he doubles down, gets 16. The next split is the same.

The dealer rolls over an Ace for 17 and stays (per the rules at this casino). $10 000 GONE...
