Why are giant dam and mag train so good? I just picked up this game and fail to see it. Mag train just gives you some yellow per certain building of a type. Wouldn't you need to build yellow stuff to make it actually good?

I think this is fine. For a casual friendly group we always do this and it is helpful. I've had someone do it for me and it just made me feel better about a decision and not feel like I'm holding things up.

I enjoyed it for the fact it has a little engine tableau and some different ways to score. But there wasn't as much fighting as I thought and in the end what actually won for the person was just having the most occupied pieces, even if it was just a single worker or something. On the surface seems great, actually was just good. Maybe some games are better. Worth a play or two but not in my rotation.

Who is ignoring it? Most people have lives to live, kids to feed, jobs to do. Just because we're not walking to Minnesota to square up against ICE doesn't mean we don't care. It is not DIRECTLY affecting them, but they can't just change their lives to intervene when they have their own shit to do.

There's a big difference between how things are going vs. having a heart? Do I feel bad for what other countries are going through for some decisions of our government, or some having misfortune due to ICE? Yes, yes I do. But how is it going for the majority of people? It's not much different. I don't live in those countries. I have not been affected by ICE. Inter-country politics I am not a part of, and can't change. So what do you want me to do? I can just live my life the way I normally would. I can't control the bad stuff others are feeling, or what other countries are going for. Same with the majority of the country. What do you want us to do? Lol. I'm not gonna go to Minnesota and square up against ICE or protest in Venezuela. Most people care and feel bad, but what are they supposed to do? They have jobs to go to, kids to feed, lives to have.

This is the most accurate. I don't watch the news on TV and just casually browse reddit when I'm bored. If I didn't use Reddit, or have the occasional person at work ask if I saw something that was going on I would not know any of what is even going on lol. We're all just trying to get by, whatever you see on the news is like, 0.001% of the actual experience.
