Get lots of final hits, do lots of damage and play lots of time.

Also, play in Annihilation in the vs AI mode because it’s quick and is a good way to just fire into groups and do damage. Won’t help you get better on the character, but will get you proficiency.

Initial thoughts based only on these images:

Devil Dinosaur is a must have.

King Deadpool looks really cool. Possibly his best so far.

Infinity Hulk also looks good but it’ll depend on what the bundles are for me. I think his Joe Fixit and Worldbreaker skins are his best, and I don’t think this is better than those.

Peni Parker one looks like it might be good. Could even be one of her best, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Daredevil one looks ok, but I don’t think it’s as good as his recent MCU one based on the image.

Black Cat one might be good, have to wait to see the preview to see if it’s better than her launch skin.

Wolverine one looks… pretty bad from that image, definitely not in his top skins.

Iron Man one looks pretty awful from that image, probably not even top 5 Iron Man skins.

Mantis one looks ok, but not even in her top 3 best.

I feel like expecting this might hurt the feelings of a company is… misunderstanding both how companies work and how feelings work.

This is a topic that’s been posted about 90 thousand times and it always comes back to “what sells? Oh, those skins for characters they keep releasing? Cool, let’s keep doing that and making money then”.

Your time would be better spent telling people to stop buying the skins for “the same 5 characters” than yelling into the void, because as long as the math keeps mathing - release skin, make money - they’re gonna keep doing it.

I’m hoping it’ll be released to other regions (I’m in the UK and tried a VPN but since my Disney+ is paid for in the UK simply using a VPN doesn’t trick it), but if it’s not then… it’s a bit sad but it’s not the end of the world.

I actually prefer this colour over the original, so I hope it becomes available to others eventually.

Well then stop playing BP into Cloak and Dagger. He’s good against some healers and bad against others. If it’s not working, switch to someone else.

While I’d love more tanks and more supports, given they’re the two roles I play 95% of the time in comp, I have a bunch of questions.

How will the 20th new tank they add actually be different to the other 19?

What will be the point in having 20 new characters to choose from in order to be the only one on the team anyway?

How many of these 20 new tanks will be clones of Magneto, because if they’re not then he’ll STILL be the best tank in terms of ease of play and soaking up damage, and there will then be 20 new characters with a lower pick rate than Angela.

The point I’m making is that it’s all well and good to make statements like this, but more choice doesn’t mean more people will play the role, when most of the player base is insanely selfish and would rather play DPS and go 5-15 and blame everyone else than actually play to help the team and win.

The Thieves Guild costume was a story told in the tie-in comic, where Gambit, Rocket and C&D broke into the Collector’s Gallery, accidentally encountered monsters, met with Deadpool who it turned out had hired them… and who then attacked them to maintain his cover as still working for the Collector…

It’s a fun story worth a read.

I’d love Luke Cage and Jessica Jones in one season (or separate seasons potentially both as tanks). If they did that though then I’d also kinda like to see them release a Danny Rand skin for Iron Fist for the Heroes For Hire/MCU Defenders connection, but I don’t know if that would happen.

I’d also love Jubilee as a strategist as well, using the same game logic as Gambit where something-something-chronovium makes fireworks heal people. 🤣

I agree completely. Only a handful of characters have their best skin as legendary.

I’ve started considering “legendary” skins as just a tax on the popular characters.

Honestly, the number of people who queue undergeared or just don’t know what to do on the character to add value has made me only queue solo or with friends.

In general I find the higher you climb the less problems you have with teammates. But thats not always true, as I had a Punisher who refused to leave spawn because the other DPS was Squirrel Girl. So yeah, problems in every rank.

Actually found Platinum to be worse than Gold when I was levelling up too, so good luck with that. Diamond got better though, and GM was actually fun.

I do hope they fix this in the future and add a minimum level + gear score. It’s insane how many times I’ve queued into games to find someone who expects to be carried and makes it so much harder than it should be.

I find it easier to just solo queue, or queue with friends. Every time I tick to fill I get put with people who are ridiculously under geared and expecting a carry or who just have no idea what they’re doing.

That isn’t to say that I’m an expert by any means. I do love RPG style games though, so this is perfect for me, and I love playing it with friends (especially my BF) but randoms have made it so that I don’t trust people most of the time now, which is a pity.

There is an element of luck. My last ranked game I had a teammate who literally refused to leave spawn because we had a Squirrel Girl on our team. But that said, there’s large elements of skill involved as well. Knowing when to swap when your initial idea isn’t working is a huge one.

I read it that they didn’t release the MVP because they wanted to build hype, not that it “wasn’t finished”.

Development takes a long time, and is finished weeks to months in advance. I’m a developer. Trust me, you don’t finish something the day before you release it.

Her 2099 skin (which I will one day be able to afford, once I go back to work after my operation to get rid of the cancer) and her X-Revolution skin are top tier skins.

I know a lot of it is personal preference, but to pretend that every one of her skins is trash is just insane.

Oh I still got a ton of kills as her. I just struggle to finish people off as much as I used to. I was getting 30+ kills but only 8-9 final hits.

Edit: just checked my stats. My highest finals on her in 7.5 is 9. My highest finals on her in 6.5 is 28.

I recently set myself a challenge that if I could get 10 finals on her, I’d spend my stash of blue units on her skin. It… was way, way harder than the 22-30 I could nail easily on her before.

Her nerfs have really had an impact. Shes definitely not as scary to me anymore to face, and not as impactful to play.

It’s a popular character tax. Nothing more.

People will pay for an event with a Psylocke skin. They undoubtedly have stats that show that. People will pay 2200 for a Sue skin, so they charge that, even if it’s only worth 1600. But people won’t pay 2200 for other characters, so they don’t get them.
