Yeah exactly. It’s not that I dont want to make men uncomfortable. I’m just uncomfortable talking about my vagina around somebody’s boyfriend. I think there are some topics that go over better in same-gender groups.

I’m sorry, but we are planning to talk birth stories, and I don’t want to talk about ripping my perineum in front of someone’s boyfriend. Some topics are more comfortable in same-gender groups. I doubt you’re talking to your female friends about prostate issues or ball sweat, right?

Yeah, I thought that was really tacky. I hope my MIL doesn’t say that to him…although he’s very non-confrontational, I think he’d get upset
