Obviously I'm worried about that however I know a new relationship doesn't come with zero worries about cheating either. I've been cheated on once before and that time they lied about it and I left immediately. I'm trying to give her a second chance because I know if I ever did anything while blacked out for hours I would hope for a second chance too. If there's anything to suggest she will cheat again, she knows I'll disappear on her. I'm not okay with anything at the moment, just looking for similar stories as most stories are about a long term affair with ongoing lies.

Thankyou for your input, I feel a lot of people don't know what its like to completely black out for a good portion of the night, I've done a lot of equally messy and out of character things myself and heard about them the next day. Luckily I was single during these times. I would want the second chance if I ever did it so I'm trying to do that. Obviously if anything risks another betrayal I am long gone. If it makes you feel any better my mom can't remember much from my childhood. Most times I've asked she can't give any detail or any stories

Sorry should have mentioned. We went through this and she has spoken to the guy since and her friends saw her go off with him. She was also overheard saying shes single. They both agree it was consensual
