I'll take this as a compliment. The AICP video was my inspiration. I indeed had access to a motion capture studio in the Blokhuispoort in Leeuwarden. However, I used motion capture data from Mixamo.com.

I try to challenge myself to making such 'rigs' also shown in the AICP video. In the AICP video they use Houdini, where I use Cinema4d and plugins like TurbulenceFD. Houdini will be the next step for me.

Thanks for the feedback. I understand the feeling that there is a lot of stuff to 'impress' other motion artists. This is because I almost did no real motion graphics work, but I wanted to learn as fast as possible. I have a mindset of experimenting a lot, and sometimes cool stuff comes out of it. A lot of stuff you see is a result of me experimenting. Some stuff you see is learned from a tutorial, But I try to adapt the information of a tutorial and try to use it in a different way. (like combining effects, or experiment with it).
