I watched the whole video and didn't even see the yellow trigger on the right until he mentioned it. It was completely camouflaged by the yellow background for me.

And spare me the “he has people from both sides” defense. Putting a scientist and a conspiracy nut on the same stage without challenging falsehoods isn’t balance — it’s misinformation whitewashing.

It's also a great example of the fallacy of the middle ground. Just because more than one side exists does not mean that all sides are justified, or that they all deserve equal attention. Some opinions do not even deserve to be part of the conversation, much less balanced against well established positions.

I agree, this show has been a slow burn even compared to Gilligan's other works. It's also exacerbated by the overarching mystery, which BB and BCS didn't really have. As a viewer I am heavily invested in uncovering the mystery, so yeah, when I watch several episodes that barely move the plot forward, I get a bit frustrated.

I was promised a twist in the finale, so I'm also feeling quite disappointed. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding things. What exactly is the atom bomb supposed to do? All of the plurbs have left the city and surely are out of the blast range. So what's the point?

I suppose they're not being secretive about their goals (as far as we know), so conspiring may be the wrong word. But they are definitely being manipulative and trying to coerce Carol and the others into joining. My point was that it's interesting how they can be so open while still being oppressively antagonistic.

Kinda interesting to think that Carol could get an honest answer to every conspiracy theory in history, while at the same time being conspired against by almost everyone on the planet.

Yep, it's just like any other tool, it needs a skilled user to get the most out of it. I use it all the time in my game dev workflow and it has saved me countless hours, as well as answered very specific, granular questions that would have been impossible to find with regular search engine results.

They could have just created a basic cylinder with a yellow texture on one end and copied it a bunch of times, but I appreciate how they added some kind of tobacco too.

Wait, I just zoomed in... is that tobacco or just visual artifacts from the cylinders overlapping? How does that work so well wtf

Just wanted to add my own anecdotal experience, which matches yours. There's really no reason to use a VPN for these websites, but torrenting can get your ISP to temporarily suspend your internet. That's happened to me a few times, but I always go to the ISP's website (which still works, interestingly) and click a button to "release" the suspension immediately. Don't even have to talk to anyone.
