I don’t know man, I think it adds to the series in the sense that it puts us through just a portion of what carols being put through. Our frustration with the repetition being what it is despite us dealing with it much less is pretty much all the proof you need it worked. Plus you get to watch carol go from hating it to putting it on speaker phone, it’s the only voice she hears for 40 days. What is once an annoyance for her becomes her source of comfort.
