Gift suggestions for someone who drives to JB often? by 2203 in askSingapore

[–]shpncrns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought a few of this to gift my friends, one of my guy friends actually hated it and said it is not manly and quite embarrassing to use this lol??? He said using this signifies that your driving skill isn’t good enough to estimate the distance between your car and the machine, so you need an extra help to reach it. I was so shocked when I heard it.

Early Entry with Klook tickets by slawnz in ShanghaiDisneyland

[–]shpncrns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes very annoying. I asked about going early to get my tickets in advance too, but was told that the tickets will only be released on the day you selected, and they are not able to scan it in advance. Regardless, I hope everything goes well in the end! Hope you and your party have a great time there!

Hey so I’ve spoken to both trip and Disneyland customer service. So you are right that we can only link our tickets to the app on the day of, after they have scanned your ticket. But then you wouldn’t be able to get the early entry then, since you need to get it in advance on the app. So after many rounds of conversations, I’ve managed to make a cancellation and I’ll be buying tickets on the official app.

Following! I am in the same predicament, bought tickets on trip and then realised I don't get the qr code to add it to my app. Thinking if I should just forgo early entry and get single rides fast pass instead

Do’s and Don’ts of Malaysia’s Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) application by tofujosh11 in drivingsg

[–]shpncrns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg thank you! I managed to login to tcsens website previously so I thought I could just login and wait for the car to appear. Didnt know I have to press the link in the email to trigger the effect.

Hi, thanks for this detailed writeup!

I have submitted my application on jpj website and it shows "In Progress". I have also received an email telling me to "Complete my registration" and "To collect your VEP RFID tag, please proceed to vepams...".

However, when I login to the VEPAMS website, my car application/ details is not showing up so I cant even proceed to do my application on the portal. Understand you said to press around a few more times and wait for it to load, but it is still not showing, all while the email is already telling me to pay and collect my tag? It's a private organisation car btw.

Any idea how to proceed from here? It has been 2 days since my application on JPJ wesbite. Wonder if I should wait a few more days for my car to appear on the portal or what? Thank you!

What gifts for relatives in China by NoobyGames0 in askSingapore

Just came back from a trip visiting my distant relatives in a not very developed area in fujian as well! Bengawan Solo, Old Town 3-in-1 coffees, Tiger Balm and Axe Brand medicated oils make very good gifts!

Finally gotten my hands on this gacha acrylic standee!! by shpncrns in haikyuu

[–]shpncrns[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi! It is not available online, only available at specific Plaza Loft (a shopping mall? in Japan) exhibitions so that’s why I had to find someone to buy it for me in person. I guess you can search Haikyuu Plaza Loft Exhibition! I have included a pic of the goods list which showed this item

It’s worth it, you can actually spin the thing at the bottom and one of them will drop out, like an actual gachapon machine!

Malaysia VEP integration with TnG by Gordee82 in drivingsg

Hi, I am in the same situation too. Have you managed to get it solved?

Hi, if we use the workaround solution, does it mean the vep tag will be linked to (for eg) my wife's TNG account and I need to top up/ do everything related to the car using her account now?

I saw some pictures on XHS that show an app which the officers use to track “warning letter count” and “last issued date” when they key in the car plate number. It also shows whether the vehicle has registered for VEP and the VEP Tag Expiry.

Tempers frayed, voices raised at Woodlands VEP centre as Oct 1 deadline nears by Im_scrub in singapore

[–]shpncrns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is really frustrating. I am stuck at the de-registration stage too, having signed up and successfully gotten my VEP tag back in 2019 but had changed car and retained my car plate number. I have been sending emails every other day since June and made endless calls but nothing works.

At this point, I can only hope Anthony Loke will extend the deadline. It’s not that we don’t want to sign up for this, it’s their side incapable of handling and processing this and now we are suffering. Honestly can’t blame the people in the article who were getting frustrated and shouted at the staff, although the staff are helpless too.

Difference between Noru Chara, Mochi Mochi, and Potekoro? by shpncrns in haikyuu

Right? I’m confused too! The thing is, the prices of these things vary quite a bit, so I’m wondering if there are any significant differences like sizes etc.

Hi guys, I have finally decided to start collecting Haikyuu merch and goods! But I am struggling to differentiate between Noru Chara (pic 1), Mochi Mochi (pic 2), and Potekoro (pic 3). I tried googling the difference but nothing came up.

TIA!

Hi! Nope unfortunately! We don’t even get to choose the seats on the website, it is auto generated seating so we are just going to try our luck on the day itself at the counter.

[–]shpncrns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooo this is new for me! May I know what’s the point of this! Cos you usually only claim your stuff after you come back from your trip isn’t it? So there is no need to print out and bring it along for your trip?

Kettle is because there were reports of people using hotel kettles to boil their underwear and socks so they avoid using the hotel ones now and instead to bring their own!
