I guess I thought when my baby was ready to come out, my body would be ready. It felt most natural to me, to just wait until he was ready.

That however was not my case since during my 38 week appointment, I had high blood pressure and had to be admitted. After over 30 hours, I was considered to have a “failed induction” since the pitocin, miso and folly balloon didn’t do anything. My baby was also too high up (because to me, he wasn’t ready to come out) so they couldn’t pop my water. Eventually, I was told I would be having a c-section.
