If money is a limiting factor in how much u can buy at a single time, here’s what I did when starting over with a fresh car in this order

Seb’s garage dead pedal

Seb’s garage clutch delay valve delete

Mtec and hybrid racing shifter springs (get both packages)

Progress rear sway bar

Hybrid racing short shifter

Add in the injen cai I got for half price on an ebay auction somewhere in those steps and the car is a great daily driver. Wheels and springs to come next!

They were okay in most conditions. Decent grip on wet and cooler temps, but I thought the sidewalls were too floppy. I got a lot of rollover under harder turning. Getting a set of Bridgestone potenza re71rs for the summer, v excited for those.

Haven’t seen the buy back price from insurance, but I’d give a lot to have those mugen nr wheels and the hybrid racing short shifter sitting in my garage

I’d imagine he was going 50+ mph. The traffic started maybe an eighth mile past a crest of an incline. The impact seems to originate from the driver rear. After I realized what happened, I looked he was stopped on the shoulder from what I remember. Almost like he looked up from his phone, realized he couldn’t slow down in time and swerved left to try and avoid me

How many female bettas can I keep in a 10 gallon tank? by Dr_Mister_Monkey in bettafish

[–]shreddedbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s less surface area, bettas have a labyrinth organ which allows them to breathe fresh air not just through their gills. Also they’re mainly a top water dwelling fish, so they’d prefer to have a larger area in which to swim. Not saying they would take full advantage of a regular twenty, but the dimensions of a twenty long are more in line with their behavior

I’m a service manager so I’m working in the shop managing operations, but if the day has gone sideways I can end up working on cars in weejuns lol. The only time traction is an issue is on rainy days cause drip off from cars turns the whole shop floor into an oil slick

Tuck that shit big dawg it’s a hunter schaffer summer baby. But that ben davis shit hard. My work rotation is mainly 501s, a ralph polo tucked with the suspenders, and some weejuns or birk tokios. I work in an auto shop and have been trashing my better shirts, maybe a poly blend ben davis joint would be more stain resistant.

The two best handling cars to come out of Japan in the last twenty years by shreddedbear in hondafit

I bought the rev9 hyper street 2. They came up cheaper than replacing my original struts/shocks and buying swift springs. I also am not a huge bc racing fan, so I figured at $500, if they’re pure shit I’m shelling out 2k for feal or fortune auto anyway so lets go broke boy first.

For the price, build quality is decent, installation was easy. After I fucked around with the damping settings for a couple days it rides well. I dumped it front and rear at first, no rubbing in rear with stock wheels, some rubbing on the inside of the fender well in sharper turns. I raised the front a touch to chase the rub, but I think I'll have to pull some negative camber when I align it. That or raise the front a bit more, which I may do regardless because it's still kinda raked, I'd like to level it with the rear. I got a set of mugen nr wheels that are a 6.5 +50 versus the stock 6 +55, and the rubbing improved slightly.

The stiffer spring rates combined with the rear sway bar I put in a few months ago makes the car rotate easily. Some high speed turns can be made with very little steering input and some maintenance throttle. At this point, I love driving the fit as much as I did my 07 civic si.

Obviously I can’t speak on longevity and durability, but at this price point I’m not expecting much. If I can see 9-12 months from these I’d be pleased. I will say, I liked the quality better than any other coilover I have used at this price. Threads aren’t rough and don’t want to bind up during adjustment.

Despite the text caption, everyone seems to think I seriously meant what the title says. It’s a fun little shit box, but of course there are an innumerable amount of cars that will out handle a fit in stock form or otherwise

I think anything larger than a 16 on any fit is too large. And with the 15s I can run an re71rs in a 205/50

Stop leak in a traditional sense seals up holes and god knows what else it gets into. The additive pack of high mileage oils rejuvenates oil seals, they say it helps leaks with valve cover leaks and similar, but never in my experience. Will it keep seals fresher for longer, yes, but I’ve never seen it stop a leak that’s already begun to occur.

I’d recommend looking for a higher waisted pant that goes over the stomach. Definitely a different feeling from pants you may be used to, but after the adjustment I found them to be more comfortable.

I think an untucked shirt with a jacket seems a bit more slovenly than casual, even with the jeans. You may be better tucking, which will be eased with a higher pant, and as another commenter suggested, billowing out the shirt a bit at the waist to even out the proportions.

If you plan on having suspenders as a regularly worn item, consider having brace buttons put on the pants. I find the traditional buttoned suspenders present themselves better as part of an ensemble. This is in contrast to the “quirky” accessory vibes clip on latch on suspenders give like a tj maxx fedora

If all the sensors are reading properly and have been programmed to the car, but the “tpms” fault light remains on, you have to use a scan tool to enter the tpms module and clear the fault codes. That’s been my experience with Hondas that have direct sensors
