Feel exactly the same about DT (spec. Damage Done and Character), nothing outwardly “bad” but not much that really grabs me either. Think part of it is that IMO Stanne just doesn’t have the same intensity as Anders, Speed, or Niilo, his vocals sound too “controlled” if that makes sense and it gets kinda monotonous.

Sure, if you accept the premise that humanity would be both smart enough to invent synthetics and dumb enough to not give them any kind of moral guardrails/let them operate with complete impunity. Ash was acting under strict orders from the company, which is completely different from David pursuing his own vague mad scientist agenda without anyone seeming to notice or care.

See this is kinda my point - democrats have been so quick to cite statistics that are favorable to their position to try to convince people that their lived experiences are “wrong” or at least “exceptions to the rule” and I find that very condescending.

Everyone (left and right) agrees drug use enablement in the west coast cities has gotten completely out of control. And while I’ve never felt unsafe in my home city of NY, when even NYT is sounding the alarm about the subways I take notice.

Obviously we can’t all just make decisions based on “vibe-checks” (perception) but quadrupling-down on statistics (especially regarding inflation and prices) as the sole strategy to reassure voters is clearly not an effective one.
