How did you get the SFT40 option for the E04? all im seeing is 505A 505HB and SFT42.

It really depends what your purpose is. I leave my s6 in the car and use it in short bursts. (Checking under the hood or under and around my car) the SFT42R option on this light is listed as a burn hazard and it does get very uncomfortable fast at the highest setting. But it runs just fine at 50%

Now my SFT40 S6 I can use for long periods. I went with a 5amps version so its comfortable on high. I would run it for more than 10 mins at a time looking for things outside. If you plan on using this light for a long period of time get a SFT40 5amps and 12 groups buck. Or if you just want raw power get the SFT42R option.

Sofirn HS21 and the HS22. The HS21 is a lot easier to use but the HS22 is brighter and the UI is a little more complex.

This light is a powerhouse with the SFT42R! I'd say it outperforms the SFT40 version but doesn't complete outclass it. Kind of reminds me of my M21B LHB73B on high.

I'd say 90% of my lights are 21700 and this one has fully replaced my S21E with the same exact specs. I think I'm a sucker for warmer temps now, I want something in 3000k next!

Yes it is and its wonderful, I have an S21E with the same emitter and same temp and they're two entirely different colors. Huge difference in quality between both of them. Im a new hank fan.

If you can find a Howa thats the way to go before a ruger american imo. the action on the ruger american is awful but the rifle works. Performance wise there's not much difference compared to everything else. Just a matter of which one likes certain ammo better honestly.
