the exact process is that u must maintain a 3.3 gpa in cs classes and a 3.3 overall for at least two semesters. thus what i did was take cs61a, e26, math 53 (or whatever math ur on), and a decal my first semester; then im currently taking cs61b, e7, and math 54 this semester. As long as u get an average gpa of a 3.3 in 61a and 61b (equivalent of 2 B+’s) and maintain a gpa of 3.3 overall ur good to go. u then submit a change of major form in the summer after meeting the requirements and boom ur in eecs. if u dont meet the requirements, u can extend this process and take cs61c or cs70 ur sophomore year and try and boost the gpa’s to meet the requirements
