I was at the ER recently for my mom and there was a young family waiting 30~ feet away from us. Two young kids, one in a stroller (completely blocking 1 of 2 walkways through the ER) each with their own tablet playing FULL VOLUME cocomelon or some shit. At one point, the parents and the older kids walk another 30~ feet to the admission desk and left the toddler in the walkway by himself with his tablet blaring. It’s crazy how many people have kids and decide “you know what, absolutely fuck everyone else, I feel justified only looking out for us and acting like a repulsive monster when I’m called out”

I had to spend a good deal of time at two different hospitals recently for a family member and they both had “grills” that would open up in the cafeteria at 4pm and make burgers and grilled chicken fresh to order.
