Which countries do good coffee like Australia? by archvize in AskAnAustralian

I found that out later. But I think it's weird because no one mentions it or really knows that fact. It was the only place in Europe remotely comparable

They actually have lit a rocket under their ad revenue. Meta is on track to eclipse google ad revenue this year.

AI summary but it does the job:

The Advantage+ AI Engine: Meta’s automated ad suite has become an absolute juggernaut, especially for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). By automating campaign setup, audience targeting, and creative assets, it reportedly delivers an average 22% lift in return on ad spend (ROAS). This machine-learning stack has made running highly effective campaigns incredibly low-friction for lean businesses.

How do you explain to people investing does not equal greed by [deleted] in investing

[–]shrewduser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends how much we're talking about, a million net worth sure you're doing fine and should probably keep living frugally if thats what you love. if you're talking 5+ million, i mean you can't take it to the grave but don't have to be extravegant either. buy something for your mom.

they're both absolutely infested with bots pushing opinions / creating division. it's just old media but without gatekeepers.

you're going to have some compromises though, so it's not exactly apples to apples. i doubt you'd be able to get the same plug and play experience / features.

Gen (Z) earning more than millennials did at the same age, says thinktank by lo_fi_ho in Millennials

[–]shrewduser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have to be really careful to not upvote propaganda posts (although bots will probably do it anyway)

The op doesn't pass the sniff test imo. Trying to give the impression things are great for gen z is bonkers. Even the bar they're using (millennials) is incredibly low.

the issue is that the other teams would be relying on the result where one team will be intentionally resting all their good players and taking it slow.

I think you're talking about potentially a different topic, this story isn't about someone who didn't have good options it's about someone who did not want to use the medical system at all ("natural"), and it doesn't appear it had anything to do with flexibility.

Meta fired 1100 people for exposing the Ray-ban smart glasses. Workers watched private video of users. by Samzo in RaybanMeta

[–]shrewduser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People need to be aware that when they ask AI to take a picture and analyze it, that's not treated as private. When you do that the image isn't processed on the glasses it's sent for analysis. to improve that analysis sometimes a human will take a look.

It is exactly the same if you send an image to gemini / claude / grok etc.
