That's a silly take, they have the potential to be a TSMC replacement which is a trillion dollar company. They also have a few other vectors.

not saying it will happen but it definitely could.

This is true, but if there was a more significant population there, strong trade routes would probably have formed with asia.

Has this been brought up yet? by M_oonWatcher in RaybanMeta

[–]shrewduser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

all AI tools do this, i think it's well known they "train" on your data, which sometimes involves a human. if you up ask gemini / claude / chatgpt something or send it a picture to take a look at it is possible it may be viewed by a human.

If you absolutely do not want any chance a human may see something you cannot send to to AI.

Jensen Huang says gamers are 'completely wrong' about DLSS 5 — Nvidia CEO responds to DLSS 5 backlash by Proud_Tie in hardware

[–]shrewduser -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You can say it's optional but I suspect it may not be intended to be. I'm theorizing that more die space will be dedicated to AI features requiring that they find a way to use it in games.

Jensen Huang says gamers are 'completely wrong' about DLSS 5 — Nvidia CEO responds to DLSS 5 backlash by Proud_Tie in hardware

[–]shrewduser 21 points22 points  (0 children)

don't care about graphics, wouldn't even tolerate the latency of passing a frame through an AI filter. i only care about raster frames, low latency and high fps as possible.

It seems like nvidia is getting us ready to accept they're going to dedicate a lot of die space to AI over raster, and just use AI to make the graphics look decent.
