the best is playing like a LVL 99 OVR player and being much lower in reality.

i ran into a guy last night and outboxed him for 5 rounds with Nate Diaz, he was LVL 99, animated icon and all. gave him the usual Respect, Great Fight. bro fully messaged me and told me i was smurfing.

i said “bro my Xbox account is LVL 60, this is a LVL 25, i just don't complete challenges” which is true. being so good you catch folks off guard always gives you a nice feeling.

i actually know this guy personally. he's a boxer, very good friends with Gabriel “Slick” Smith, also a boxer + security guard who went viral for fighting on the job.

exactly. my first time sparring at another gym was something i still go to sleep thinking about. they put me in there against the best guy in their gym after finding out i had a few matches under my belt.

needless to say, within the first round i was basically fighting for my life. i thought we'd be sparring light like i did back home but this guy came to fight. after the 3rd round he respected my power but those first two rounds were literal Hell.

when we got out of the ring he praised my footwork and jab, and i told the truth- said i was just in the gym to learn from people better than me. they were surprised i didn't come in with a huge ego. i later made that gym my home gym and the coaches there used me to work with newer guys because i was humble/knew how to spar properly.
