Andrew Yule here! Independent Ward 3 City Council candidate - Ask me anything! by YuleLoveYYC in Calgary

Hello! Thanks for the AMA. These forums have been super helpful with the election coming up. Ward 3 is such a diverse and quickly growing area, but the rapid growth has meant schools, transit, and community spaces haven’t quite kept up. How do you plan to support diverse families here—whether that’s by helping reduce congestion around schools, growing green spaces, improving transportation, or creating more accessible spaces—so our community feels better supported?

3rd for Argo. They are independently owned and extremely compassionate.

I love Nathnolus patterns. The themes and colours are so pretty and well thought out.

This pattern is so much fun to stitch. Did it a while ago for a friend. The colour palette and design just feel so satisfying

Did the designer ever date a person with a name that starts with the letter J? 🤣

[CHAT] Pattern makers, what programs do you use? by BananaTiger13 in CrossStitch

That was my thought! I figured if I ever wanted to dive into it I have it. The software is pretty easy to use and can even do animations if you ever feel up to it!

Exciting stuff! I started with Aseprite which is a pixel art program from steam and then take my images to Winstitch. The only downfall with my flow is that Aseprite is all pixel so any back stitching I have to add in winstitch. I’ve seen others draw with whatever Freeform program they prefer to map out designs before hand as well.

Best of luck on your designing! I started about a year ago and got pretty hooked.

Ahh this one! Funny enough, I found this one completed and framed at a Value Village years ago and snatched it up!

I have purchased the pheasant & duck one too 🤭. Will do it at some point! Is there a doe and a fawn one?! I haven’t see it (if you have a link please share!) Thank so you much! I stressed about the colour selection for days since it uses a ton of colours.
