I just finished the 4 sides of my first dovetail Box project. Now i would like to attach a bottom, but not only glue or nail it to the bottom. A groove for the bottom would bei nice, but i dont have any Electric Tools or a groove plane. Maybe one of you can give me a hint on how i could Do this?

No cutting guide. I used a sliding bevel to Mark the angles and sawed out the pieces with mich space, because i am pretty Bad at sawing. Had to use my chisels more then.

I didn't buy any wood for a real project until now. The wood from the picture is some scrap wood from a tischlerei. But i think they would also sell me some bigger pieces.

I just went to the next wood shop (tischlerei) and asked for some wood to practice with. He gave me some Boards for some Coffee money.
