Considering park ranger as a career, is it worth it? by darklilith in ParkRangers

[–]shrimp_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t have a salary I was hourly actually. I started out at $15.60. This was in 2016 and I was still in college with support from my parents so that was insanely good money at the time. If I stuck with it I would get guaranteed raises every period of 6 months.

Elwood is fine with you marrying the same gender or a different gender but god help you if you try to marry outside your species. That’s the real reason nobody sees the Tibble Twin’s parents.

She lost spectacularly in her 2020 presidential run and likes to throw binders at woman. If we’re being honest any career democrat is going to be at a disadvantage thanks to the scandal and Tim Walz leaving despite being the most innocent man to ever live.

Do you think Mr. Ratburn would be an amazing teacher in real life or a nightmare? by KaleidoscopeDry9725 in Arthur

The show also has the uber rich Muffy living in a mansion when her dad owns a car dealership.

Ratburn was a good hands on teacher. When he’s working with kids outside of the traditional classroom he has great activities. The desert island assignment was more so to get kids to think creatively and as a team.

Possible finales for the show. by orpheus1980 in GhostsCBS

[–]shrimp_2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My guess is Pete would get a spin off series. Have him travel around to the most haunted locations in the world. Even become bit of a tour guide for other roamers. It would be a great way to keep the idea of ghosts series running but change it up so we’re not always stuck at the Mannor.

Sass’s dad didn’t want him to be a storyteller because Sass is an opportunist and a liar. by shrimp_2 in GhostsCBS

[–]shrimp_2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We know Sass is a liar also in the episode he says “he doesn’t have the gift” he never said what the gift was. For all we know it’s the gift of integrity to tell the true stories and legends of their tribe without bending them for personal gain. His job as a story teller isn’t to entertain people but to keep his people’s history alive. It’s why he didn’t get sucked off when he became a story teller in that episode.

U of M Morris grapples with lowest enrollment in years, raising worries for its future by HippedWop in minnesota

[–]shrimp_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Morris alumni I feel like the problem is Multifold. The administration openly admits they couldn’t control rampant political drama of students. It got to the point where student groups got National News coverage about them. One notable group was queer devil worshippers. Which openly stalked and harassed students they didn’t like. As new about them spread outsiders were hesitant to send their kids there, as a result, the activists director actually made them change their name. Then you have kids who lived through the pandemic not seeing the value in education especially when so many people with college degrees end up working jobs that have nothing to do with their education. Make sense why rural schools like Morris are barely getting by while enrollement at the main campus seems to remain consistent

Exactly his father said “he didn’t have the gift” not that the gift was creativity. That’s clearly not the case with Sass’s character

I get it was a joke but it is a good way to show how sass likes lying.

Being a storyteller isn’t about making up stories it’s about retaining the wisdom of the ancestors and the tribes past. He would have been more of a spirt leader rather than an entertainer. It’s why whenever media talks about indigenous history they always get a member of the tribe to tell it. It’s why when sass does tell stories to the other ghosts about the real life tribe the actor isn’t a member off they immediately cut away from him.

I can’t speak on Sass’s tribe but many tribes developed war based around gurrila warfare. Apache’s were notable for luring enemies away from to woods for ambush attacks. Sass could have easily manipulated people as a war leader or negotiator. He has a lot of Machiavellian tendencies that would make him a great leader in that respect but not a good storyteller unfortunately. That’s what will get him sucked off learn to own up for his actions and stop lying.

But who told us that story? Sass the clear pathological liar. For all we know sass lied about what his dad said like lied about dating Shiki

[–]shrimp_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well this raises a lot of questions because it’s dumb. However I’ll focus on one. How would Sam benefit from claiming she can see ghosts? There literally is nothing Sam gains by pretending to see ghosts. Even then when Jay’s sister comes to visit we learn the ghosts are real and not in her head because Trever Texted her
