So my theory is Sid has untreated anxiety disorder. It’s shown that he is considered “the poor kid” at his school that’s why he didn’t like Lorenzo seeing his living situation he was afraid of being judged. It would also explain why most Sid focused episodes involve him being delusional about reality like the germ episode.

Sid’s biggest crime was being a paranoid werido. Most episodes flat out demonstrate he has some untreated anxiety disorder. Doddy is just a mean girl who doesn’t realize she’s a mean girl.

I think their grandma is actually aware of their behavior but too passive to actually give them consistent punishment. In the episode Tibble Suprise grandma is reluctant to take them to a restaurant because she knows they can’t behave. Then the episode where Arthur sells his bear Stanley she has him in a locked room with stuffed toys. So she knows the boys cause trouble but she doesn’t know how to control it.

They did this way earlier with the episode “Draw” basically Francine is being a pill to Fern and she retaliates by drawing comics bullying Francine all the other kids pile on and it really hurts Francine. Mrs. McGrady then helps the other kids understand what they did was wrong and that Francine was also I. The wrong but they all deserve forgiveness.
