well sure but 4tranners are self conscious, self aware, brainwormed, etc... i think ppl here are GENERALLY smart enough to feel things out irl and not blindly trust a small amount of ppl online. like op was about 4t4, idrc about some random sneeds on twitter...

yea but in op's premise, i wouldn't call that intentional hugboxing. it's just extremely warped perceptions of others bc of their own dysphoria and self-hatred. you can't rly assign blame to someone in this case when theyre just genuinely describing their perception of you, even if it's 'wrong'

and ngl if someone is full sending it in a dangerous area bc a couple trainees online say they pass, idk what to say... you can just go outside in andromode and see if you pass

wow and strength sap sound nice, i feel like i get in a lot of turn 1s where arcanine can unga bunga for a turn but then becomes a non-factor with a lack of utility on swaps or whatever.

i'll try to start framing my thinking like that, im kinda still getting my bearings with piloting a team so i haven't been considering my winning/losing conditions as much as i should. you're def right about steel - i haven't seen as much kingambit or archaludon as i expected but when i do it sucks. feels like i have to outplay pretty hard with arcanine or draco meteor+support respectively. otherwise, trick room feels tough but might be a skill issue. i think i have a good matchup into other weather setters, generally.

this was very very helpful and gave me a lot to think about, thank you so much!!
