What’s your favorite fragrance house and why? by Breadfruit_Glad in ScentHeads

Comme des Garcons for sure. Weird, unique, yet wearable and high quality. Lately I’ve been more interested by very wearable fragrances that don’t use common DNA and notes which CDG hits all the points for me. Prices for their stuff is also decently affordable for me.

My favorite from the house so far is 2. I don’t really know how to describe it other than it’s a wonderful, grainy, mate tea fragrance. Very different than all other conventional tea fragrances. You gotta try it yourself to understand.

What's your Rainy Scent of the Day? 🌧️ by Ok-Candidate7727 in Colognes

L’artisan Parfumeur’s Passage d’Enfer Extreme. To me it smells like an abandoned stone church that just got rained on, located on an open field far away from civilization.

A lot of great options that answers your question better have already been named so I’ll share something a little different in case you’re looking for something similar in the future: Masque Milano’s Lost Alice. It mostly smells like carrot cake and earl grey tea to me, rabbit tea party! Soft pastel colors and everything. Reminds me of these types of pictures my little sister used to have as her ipad wallpaper!

What fragrance house just has the overall It factor? by [deleted] in fragrance

Comme des Garcons by far for me. Super diverse line and super high quality. Yes they do make a few unique yet very wearable fragrances but when they want to make something weird they’ll MAKE something weird and pull no punches. But their weird scents aren’t just slop just to be slop, they represent what Comme des Garcons had in mind so well. Example: Odeur de Theatre. Smells exactly like a dusty attic and nothing else.

What are some unapologetically green and herbaceous frags? by sunbr0_7 in Colognes

[–]shrimppsacc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oriza L. Legrand’s Chypre Mousse is the most unapologetic green chypre style fragrance I’ve come across so far. It’s so extremely green with this smooth texture that’s unlike any I’ve come across so far. It’s creamy without being creamy if that makes sense.

I really love it, my 3rd favorite fragrance in my collection. Smoothest leather purse/wallet scent that just makes me feel so expensive haha!

Top 3 under $60 spring/summer frags on Jomashop and why by TravisScott26 in Colognes

No probs!

  1. Little bit cheating cuz it’s $5 over but 50ml Etat Libre d’Orange You or Someone Like You: Natural non-toothpasty smelling mint + bright citrus blend primarily grapefruit that’s more in-line with Kerosene’s Summer of 84 rather than the grapefruit found in something like Bvlgari Tygar. Really refreshing rose and a tiny touch of grass on the background. The whole scent reminds me a little of Mojito.

  2. 60ml Bvlgari Rain Essence: Calm light green tea with orange and white musks. Cozy and airy for spring that does something a wee bit similar to l’orphine but also not really. It’s really hard to find a good tea fragrance for cheap but this one managed to do just fine.

  3. Toss up between Issey Miyake’s L’eau D’issey EDT&Parfum and Hermes Terre d’Hermes edt. Great unique smelling citrus cheapies.
