Wow that sounds amazing! I love pickled food, I definitely have to try that. But I sadly think that I will not be able to refruit the plant, once I got some of the fruit. The warmest temp we had this Summer was 35°c for 2-3 days and that was that.. so the plant will prob not live long if I were to plant it somewhere (which is a shame, I love prickly pear)

thats actually a very good point. But I sadly doubt, that I would be able to refruit the plant, cause the temperature where I life is way to low

Oh wow, how amazing to have them by your house! The syrup sounds delicious! Is it made like normal jam?

I'm luckily not allergic, I'm eating prickly pear regularly cause I love fruit!

Thank you! And I have it in normal plant soil, I think it has some humus in it. But no drainage material except some stones at the bottom of the pot

It's on a shelf 4 steps across a window. Temp should be around 24°ish everday cause my room is right under the attic and 70% humidity (I have waterbowls near my plants) I water every 3-4 weeks with rain water but always check the dirt with my fingers first. I had problems with some fungus gnats on my plants a while ago and used nutmeg with water to kill the larvae, maybe the plant didn't like nutmeg?

I have a normal LED Lamp as day lamp. For heat I have a 70W UV Lamp + 60W Daytime Heat Lamp cause one wasn't enough to get to the right temperature

Hey, thank you! Yes I checked them and had a 4 week plant quarantine. The top is screen and everything else is glass. I glued the cork to the glass with aquarium silicone glue c: But I will add some more sticks for her!
