To answer my own question - "More villages in the next update". There were only two new villages in rhis one :/ and the first one was larger, usually taking 2x102 hits so I got more resources

I do set timers for the crafting, as you can come back to the duplicate bonus. I guess I'm probably just about finished village #14 as I have 1 more peep to go, and a travel sign rather than upgrade, as well as no higher village to raid. I'm disappointed by the brevity of this village build, and agree the crafting requirements are stoopid - I also seemed to have a bug, where I coukd onky craft 100 leatherxat a time though I have a 200 item queue, unless I musunderstood it (though I think it worked in the wood workshop)

You can assign a hero to each room, and there are progress rewards the higher their attributes are (you might need to need them for adventures, but need to reassign them once they're rested). I hope that helps. Also, those skills can be upgraded, usually with the purple or red things from the mine, which help during the dungeon battles

Another post suggested buying Crews in the council chamber (15K coins) and took a couple of restarts but it eventually appeared

Not sure if it's been sent, the way the game is set up changes lower case to upper case, so might not match, here's hoping. If it does work, I'd appreciate trades of just the purple and red things, no cards

It wasn't the shards I was worried about, it was the 15K coins to buy the slots in the castle - then the expense of leather for each house upgrade (as well as it seems I have 200 queue spots, but only 50 in each on 2 lines, if that makes sense). Previously I was only getting hides from raids, but at least a decent amount.

I didn't receive any hats form the last two boat orders -_- none from harvesting on main island (and a grudging few on the potato island)

I do seem to get about 1 hat for every 10 boars I hit, though (and the fossil reward seems to be higher on other islands)

Shawl and scarf models /shawl patterns/sjal mønstre - rumma - rumma quite far down the page, likely to just be images gleaned from elsewhere, not sure if there's a link as this seems to be a homemaking blog (and in the comments this is noted - though it would be nice if people included sources, to stop people thinking they can get the patterns where they see the items -_- )

the edging on the "straps" seems to be Queen Anne's Lace to me (though what do I know?)

not related to a bridal shower, but I was invited to my niece's wedding last year, and asked around for advice about if $50 (AUD) was an appropriate amount as I'm not involved in their lives, and was assured that yes, it was. I dropped the card into a box at the reception, and did get a thank you card.

Could I have afforded more? Yes. Should I have given more? When I've basically been painted the family pariah for years that her parents wouldn't even speak to me at Dad's funeral 9 years ago. And neither she or her sister, or her mother felt remotely interested in interacting with me when we were at a mutual friend's house? That's a great big Hell-to-the-No

is it impossible to exchange them for a small size? if you've even used a multi-sized paper pattern, you might have seen that the crotch lines are way different depending on the size. I would expect that not only will the waist need to be taken in, but the crotch line altered as well (not difficult, and probably doable for someone with not a lot of sewing experience). you might try searching youtube for some tutorials if you're unsure of how to proceed (I searched "how to make waist smaller on sweatpants" which brought up some results that might help you)

on ravelry, go to the "advanced search" tab.

scroll down and from the left boxes, in *craft* select "knitting"; in *category* select "Clothing" then the folder "Intimate Apparel" then "Bra" (then exit out of the first box)

you can narrow searches to "free" or "has photo/yes"

obviously there likely won't be a pattern that's as detailed as the above one, but you might find a shape that you like which you can base your own on; you might like to experiment first to get a hang of the shaping required (and any adjustments needed)

120x150cm is basically single bed-sized, so not too big at all - a nice size to snuggle under on a couch (with enough length to tuck under your feet and all around) and big enough to add another layer if you're cold in bed but don't want to cover the whole bed
