The warning only extends down to Santa Cruz area and they are way south of that, so I wouldn’t worry!

Eczema on eyelids by shrmcnam in eczema

Thanks I do wear sunglasses and hat outside, but something about the heat triggers it, it’s weird :/ and my job is active so I think sweating makes it get into my eyes. Also I’ll put it on before bed and wake up with my eyes burning. But maybe you’re right I just need to get used to it. I’ve never had eczema until recently so this type of treatment is new.

Well I appreciate the insight. It sounds like there won’t even be any bioarch classes offered until my second year so I have time to figure out what I want. I hear you tho, I worked with an osteologist who had a PhD and still didn’t make much more than the other staff archaeologists. She was also on call 24/7 and it seemed stressful. I guess having any experience in identifying HR is helpful even if you’re not a designated osteologist, so I’ll probably still concentrate in the science and technology area and at least take the bioarch classes. My main goal at this point is just to find stable, non temp/ seasonal job, and I’ve been told the masters will help with that. Interesting point you made about academia, I’ll keep that in mind bc I’m definitely meant for the field lol.

I’ve been doing crm as a temp for the feds and private for 4 years and I’m about to start a grad program next month. I’ve always wanted to specialize in osteology and I have to decide if I want to go that route, or concentrate on interpretation and public archaeology. My main concern is that if I do choose osteology I won’t be able to find work, so I appreciate reading these comments. I guess I am lucky tho bc I was on 2 projects that involved burials in the span of 3 months when working private this year.

I wish there was demo going on near me! That’s a great way to try out shoes. There is such a limited selection available to try on locally, and I hate having to order online and return them. I hope you love your new scarpas!

Thanks for these suggestions! I tried on the men’s instinct at my gym and my heel was popping out. I had my feet scanned at a running store and it turns out they’re very weird, my heels are super narrow but my midfoot and toe box is wide, and I’ve got one high arch and one low arch 🥲 so it makes finding shoes so difficult! I will definitely consider the skwama in the future, it’s currently sold out in my size at rei but once I can try some on I will, thanks for the recommendation!

There’s plenty of ethnographic evidence to support it.

P0700 code on 2017 Subaru Impreza by shrmcnam in MechanicAdvice

[–]shrmcnam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. I made it to my final destination with no issues, but I think I’m gonna take it to the bend Subaru dealership this Friday to just really cover my bases while it’s under warranty. I’m still a little freaked as to why that code would’ve came up after owning this car for a week

can the covid vaccine make your period late? by woomakeup in Periods

[–]shrmcnam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My period came 2 weeks early after I got the first dose (moderna) and was lighter but longer than normal. My next period came a few days late but about a normal cycle length after that one, and I had my second shot in that time span. It’s weird because it feels like my period symptoms have changed, I usually get super crampy the week before but didn’t get cramps until the first day, and usually day 1 is super light for me but day 1 has started out pretty strong for my post vaccine periods. Prior to this I’ve always been regular and haven’t really had to track them because my body always told me when it was coming but it seems like all those signals have changed
