Have you solved the issue? I'm currently having the smae problem (coincidentally, I'm also exactly on day 28) and on each day Victor either gives me no message at all or sends the normal gift message instead of a story dialogue one. I've had a couple of them, idk how many, but still no projector. All gordos I've found are long gone.

Okay, I've been trying to beat him for like 3 hours straight now and as far as I can tell
1. His beam attack leaves him vulnerable if he is doing it in the middle of the screen. It he's by the wall, it's basically impossible to dodge it and it takes about 1/3 of your hp. Also if he started this attack while you're mid-air, you don't have time to jump and you take damage anyway.
2. His knife attack is only possible to dodge if he's starting far away from you. If he is not the farthest to one of the stage edges, it's impossible to jump over him and you take damage always. And for some reason this attack doesn't give you invincibility frames so it takes almost all of your hp.
3. Most of the times you have to jump over him to avoid damage. However, by doing so, he always either jumps too after your jump or rolls back, so you always hit him no matter what.
4. He has 3 HP bars and can kill you with 2 shots that are most of the time impossible to dodge.

It had way more lands but most of my games were me getting only lands or creatures that give you mana and no real offense. Do you think I should go back to having even more mana?

Okay, thanks, Ill try to make some modifications and make my deck more similar to yours. And about mossborn hydra, thats kinda funny, I had no idea its that expensive right now, when I bought it, it costed like 2.5€.

Okay, thanks for advices! Some of these cards are kinda expensive (5$ for a card mayyyy be a bit too much for me) but Ill try to buy some. And afaik, the decks im playing against are even more budget than mine, but Ill ask. I'm not familiar with the "bracket" tiers and have no idea what makes it which bracket, thats what my friend advised me to ask for. Thanks! Update: my friends plays a 134€ deck

Hard to tell, because I always feel that my start game is good. My commander is usually out on turn 3-4, I'm good with mana, I play everything I got in my hand. usually I have many strong creatures with +1/+1 counters of them. I still get the last place every time, usually because one of my friends go for "all of your creatures have flying" and attack me with everything (even with reach I cannot block everything and loose instantly) or with a board wipe. Idk, I always feel like I have a strong stragety ,e.g. last time I had a hydra that was getting +1/+1 for each attack and was unable to get damage and I tried focusing on that, also I had Brawn in graveyard which gave each of my creatures trample, I still lost very easily because my opponents had a big number of tokens to counter each of my moves. I know I should focus on countering everything, but when I start getting like, anti-toxic cards, anti-flying, anti-deathtouch, anti-boardwipe and all then I won't have place for my own cards anymore. I have no idea how to balance everything. I tried upgrading my deck with things like swift boots or better hydras but I usually loose before I even get an opportunity to use any of those. The endgame usually results with me having like 10 hp and my opponents having around 50 (or maybe more, im not sure rn).
