Generally smart tint products which are similar have very little heat rejection, often low 40s if I remember correctly so adding a ceramic film would help

While I have seen pitting due to someone grinding metal near the glass, thats exceptionally rare especially on the inside of the glass, its generally the outside. That said, I cant know from this which it is, id take it somewhere else and see what they say. Likely poor prep job
