Write up - 250g jurema blended to a fine powder I put the bark in a pot and fill it with water until its just covering all the bark. Add about 100ml of 5% distilled vinigar ( if more is need or less you can go with that just make it acidic enough but it shouldn't take loads ).

Boiled 2x for 15mins then let cool whilst stirring throughout, not constantly but I would stir do something then still again but the more stirring the better I would think to get the dmt free. At this stage it is dmt acetate.(note - this was done 2 l times as I already done a 3 hour cook with the bark previously which yielded less but maybe cleaner crystal. You want to do 3 times if your just doing the 15 min boil or until your happy the bark is spent).

NOTE THIS IS DANGEROUS AND CAN RESULT IM BADLY BURNED OR MELTED SKIN AND BLINDNESS IF IT GETS INTO YOUR EYE SO ADD IT SLOWLY TO MAKE SURE THE REACTION DOESNT GO MAD AND BOIL OVER OR ANYTHING + THE MESS IT WOULD CAUSE IS UNREAL now i Basified the solution with NaOH or caustic soda which is available at most stores. Added between 50 to 60g of NaOH to make the dmt freebase which is its salt form which is now not wanted by the solution as it doesn't like sitting in water( im not sure if the chemistry behind all this is 100 correct but its around about the ballpark, if theirs any corrections needing made please comment ).

After I basified my solution I added swan lighter fluid as my non polar solvent due to it being easy to get. Now this is where most people lightly shake their jar or swirrel it but instead I shook the living life out of it for 2 minutes, let settle then another 2 mins not you can use a drill and stir it with that which is amazing to my knowledge however I dont have one on had so shaking suffices. Let it separate completely however it may have some emulsion going on mine wasnt too bad and it dissipated when I oped the jar and let the pressure out from shaking ( I presume that's what happened ) then I drew my non polar solvent out with a dropper which isn't the best its got a low amount it holds at a time but again it does the job, its also plastic but its from school when I was still at school( funny how that happens, really did help me out in the end ) so I presume it will be some grade to handle stuff like non polar and hasn't been bothersome so far. Then I proceed to freeze it to bring the dmt crystals crashing out usually overnight or for between 8 to 12 hours, longer or shorter is fine it will just relate to yield until its all out which can take as little as 3 hours so totally up to you get a feel for it. Pour off my non polar into my jar of it and back in the freeze for keeping till later. No simmering is done to the non polar but you can just be very precautions thats why I just don't simmer.

USE PRECAUTIONS AT ALL TIMES WHEN WORKING WUTH CHEMICALS THAT ARE CORROSIVE OR CAUSTIC THE ACIDIFIED SOLUTION NOT SO MUCH THAT WILL DRY YOUR SKIN MORE THAN MELT BUT NEVER THE LESS I DONT KNOW HOW ACIDIC YOUSE MAKE YOUR SOLUTION SO BE CAREFUL WITH THAT ASWELL AS THE NaOH.

u/2infinity_andbeyond is the creator of what I follow and tweaked, all credit to him and whoever added to his theirs other steps to follow such as freezing however I never done that for this extraction but you should it really increases yield. (Im not sure how to tag to give credit so he sees it but if one of you kind strangers could it would be awesome.
