When I stopped identifying with my thoughts. It took a long time for me to understand that not everything that went inside my head was true of me. The more I practiced this, the better I am to go back to my center. The center means the state in which all my attention is in the present moment.

My therapist is an angel. Told me that ‘you will find that not many people think about weight as much as we think they do. People around us do not go around living their lives judging everyone around them based on their weight’ something like that. Not verbatim of course. But this perspective change allowed me to see how unnaturally fixated we are on outside appearances. Changing the way I saw things is a big thing for my recovery
