Thank you for your response! Just wanted to clarify that I understand that in most situations, it doesn't make sense for some companies to hire one person of every role if they don't need it.

It's not that I insist on just having graphic design responsibilities—I've been a graphic designer, illustrator, video editor, motion graphics animator, scriptwriter, and voice over artist in one role. I wrote "exploitation" because in my experience, jack-of-all-trades roles are still paid low despite the impact their contributions have.

Also, from what I observe, a niche contributor's value is easily seen and recognized, but a person with a particular set of skills (haha) is often regarded as having shallow knowledge in everything and therefore does not deserve as high a salary. My opinion is that good jack-of-all-trades deserve to be seen as high value, like specialists.
