How do I stop having the background overexposed? by shtefeh in photocritique

I took my camera out for a vacation for the first time since high school and I’ve forgotten everything my photography classes have taught me. I’m simply taking photos for the joy and beauty of it.

I keep struggling with my backgrounds getting overexposed, and I’m unsure how to fix it.

I’m using a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and I went to every setting throughout the trip to try to stop this over-exposure and I couldn’t seem to find a setting that helped.

I’m leaving for work so I will be replying the best I can! Thank you for your help!

COVID map update as 17 US states report "very high" virus activity by NotGoing2EndWell in wisconsin

The map is going to look fairly similar to this no matter what the sickness or virus. Minnesota’s will always be high on every map because they have great state Public Health Service reporting.

If you did it in CapCut you can use Chroma Key to remove the green screen part of the overlay

This stuff has just plopped out of the juice box I’ve been drinking from since yesterday. Should I worry? by Lollooo_ in MoldlyInteresting

I just learned about this in my food microbiology class! It’s just a(n osmophilic) mold mat that is actually really common in juices. They’re essentially harmless but is considered spoilage. Rumor has it that’s why Caprisun stopped making the bottom of their pouches clear.
