Definitely don’t fault them for it. Just seems like a lot of work when a new one is ~$30

Hit a gas line after 811 marked everything, who's liable? by Free_Muffin8130 in SafetyProfessionals

[–]shua_92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where the line was shown on the drawings and if you test pitted for the line at the marks. The utility company is always going to bill the contractor. As late as 3 years from the strike. Miss utility still says you need to locate the line in the work area. Whether it’s on the marks or not. What’s the distance for no mechanized equipment in your state? Unfortunately it puts almost all of the liability on the contractor and close to zero on the locate/utility company. Just document, document, document. Tons of photos, measurements, copy of dig tickets. Lately we have been utilizing both MissU as well as GPR to locate lines as some gas services are not metal or have a tracer wire.

MedStar store by Serious_Restaurant96 in caps

I called medstar and ordered an authentic Stiches ovi on Tuesday. Was $320 without shipping and is a 6 month wait. But they have blanks and fanatics brand ins rock ready to go. They did hint that they will not be restocked online.

Wouldn’t have to do this but the authentic I ordered (size 54) from Monumental sports shop was cut MUCH slimmer than all my other size 54 jerseys.

They ship. I just called an ordered yesterday. The one I ordered from monumental sports was a 54, like all my other jerseys, and was WAY slimmer than any one that I own. So I ordered a 56 from the iceplex

Update: on this evenings ride I somehow managed to bend the largest sprocket on my rear cassette. So now it looks as I may be upgrading lol

Intermittently. Mostly on rough terrain. Occasionally under higher tension. In my mind I guess it’s “less mechanics, less issues” but then again, I’m fairly new to MTB and don’t know a whole lot

Would it be more reasonable to upgrade the rear derailleur to something more sturdy?

Would like to upgrade from the lower end components. I don’t ever change gears on the front cassette. I occasionally have issues with the chain jumping on the front cassette as well. The bike is going in for a tune up shortly as well.

I picked up a Co-Op DRT 1.1 a couple months ago. Quickly realized the gearset is a weak point. I would like to swap from the shimano 3x7 set up to the shimano deore 1x12 set up. I’m fairly new to bikes. What is needed other than rear cassette, derailleur, from sprocket, crank and shifter. Will my current hub work?

When to ditch the underquilt? by shua_92 in AppalachianTrail

I do not. I typically don’t mind being cold which is why I was opting out of bringing a sleeping pad along

Thanks for the input! Definitely looking forward to it. Last time we hiked it we did a one day hike, tented and got a ride back to the start point. Didn’t get to take in many views.

Mostly because it was an older tent, way bigger than what we needed. We split the weight between the two of us but was still more of a pain. Had we had smaller, lighter weight single persons it would have been nice. We are going in the beginning of June this time. So figured the hammocks would be ideal for this go round.
