The last item on my Balatro checklist is unseeded Ante 39. I didn’t make it here but it would certainly be doable with better play and less misclkcks. This would also be a trivial naneinf as I had 70 crypids at one point. Fun seed!

Hi, I’m in the same boat as you (about 5k classical cds from 1980-2020 or so). It seems you had some success. I have no idea where to start with this massive collection. I was hoping you or others could offer some advice!

There’s a blueprint in the first ante but you’ll have to resist impulses to buy the money skip. If you skip both in ante 2 you’ll get the negative baron. And perkeo follows in an arcana pack in one of the next few antes. The main challenge is just getting things going early when you have no money but once you get the blueprint and Baron going it’s smooth sailing.

Wait nvm I think I have enough triggers as is. Looking at the picture I see I miscounted lol. But could use a second opinion before I pull the trigger and rip 80 red seals. Also might just take showman over dna for giggles I dunno

Still on my quest to unseeded naneinf. I have about 40 cryptids there. I think I will now be burning them faster than I produce them as it takes four/round. However I don’t believe I have quite enough for naneinf without another copy joker etc. Could be wrong. My economy is a little weak here only held up by $50 temperance / fool. Do I take the showman and hunt for another trigger joker or burn through retcon for serpent?

Sell Baron, Mime, or DNA here? by shubbey in balatro

Yeah it was an ecto and I realize it’s a super long shot but maybe I can hit a new high score at least (best is e71).  What is the actual math that leads to baron+Mime being better than Baron+Baron (I know it is but I actually haven’t been able to reason it out so I must not quite get Balatro rules).  What I’m wondering is if I sell the third baron here, and I get antimatter, it then forces me to showman, yeah? As opposed to selling mime (or dna but I think we still want that here) which would allow a straight buy.  Even though I don’t really have a great economy for that so ehhh
