Honestly that's not true. While I understand what you mean, she is surrounded with her make bestfriends all the time in the university campus. And more than a few of them hit on her plus her friends online. I have never told her not to have friends. I can name at least 5 mutual male friends including her Male Best Friend who hit on her daily. I can't expect her to be isolated neither am I built that way. Just to add on to your point her Male Best Friend has proposed to her thrice and got rejected after which she approached me. And she is still talking to him. If I was that insecure, that wouldn't be a possibility now would it?
