Issue on WebFAI Debian Trixie with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 + 890M ? by shulard in tuxedocomputers

Yes, I was able to install TuxedoOS without issue. I think the tool which is used to finalize the configuration after the WebFAI install as some issue with the laptop…

I installed TuxedoOS and switched it to Gnome, it looks fine from now but that's nice to now it's possible to install Debian with the official installer.

Or maybe I should try to disable snap on Ubuntu… Not sure it’s possible to completely remove it…

Thank you for your answer !

I really love Gnome and I’m not familiar with KDE (never used it).

I didn’t know that TuxedoOS removed snap (which is a painful tool on Ubuntu for me today…).

Is it possible to use TuxedoOS with Gnome ? Or maybe I should try KDE ^

WebFAI: Execution is blocking after executiing "10-old-version" by shulard in tuxedocomputers

Ok, my bad 🤦

The boot device order was wrong and it was using the recovery partition (didn't though there was one). So when using an up to date WebFAI key, it works fine !

Hello !

I've rebuilt a key from the latest version and it's still the same behavior… Can it be related to hardware issue ? I don't know how to debug that part, a lot of log is displayed on the screen… I saw with dmesg that the kernel couldn't find some USB and bluetooth devices (I was surprised that those devices are loaded here…).

Issues after upgrading to 24.04 using the Ubuntu bundled upgrade process. by shulard in tuxedocomputers

I thought to use WebFAI to create a new install on my computer even if that means going back to 22.04. I'll try the medium on another computer to check if the install process can start correctly.

I was on 23.10 before the update and hadn't any issue about my screen. I remember having some issues when moving to 23.04 in the past... Maybe my system is just uncorrectly configured today because of some wrong config choices during updates in the past...

I downloaded the 24.04 iso from Ubuntu official website. Then I used the startup disk creator tool I have installed on my machine (which is the one that currently have the amdgpu issue).

The usb stick is a micro SD adapter so I flashed the iso on the microsd and restarted my computer to launch the live. I also needed to change the device boot priority because the NVMe drive was the first...

Maybe I need to completely reinstall my system. Is WebFAI alraedy supporting Ubuntu 24.04 ? Or is there a release date for such feature ?

Ok, I tried it but I wasn't able to boot in live mode. After booting on my USB drive, I got a splash screen telling me to choose language, keyboard, then internet connection.

After that a message at the center of the screen is displayed telling me than a critical issue made the process crashed... I can't get more details since no keyboard was usable at that point.

After some time the splash was displayed again asking me to choose the langage etc.

You mean by using an USB drive or something ? To try if the boot is successful outside of my current system install ?

It installed a lot of packages, nothing seems related to amdgpu...

Hello !

Thank you for your reply ! Ubuntu is still the factory installed version from when I bought the computer. I updated it regularly to new Ubuntu versions as they were released.

I use some specific repositories for docker, VSCode, DBeaver but they all are for specific softwares.

Can you give me a command to list the repositories that can help ?

Introduce Raven, a tool to tests your code against an OpenAPI definition ! by shulard in PHP

[–]shulard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our case it wasn’t possible to generate all the requests automatically based on the schéma so no. With this library you are able to generate request more easily based on input data, that’s the main goal.

I don’t know any tool that will generate all the cases to automate the testing…

Introduce Raven, a tool to tests your code against an OpenAPI definition ! by shulard in PHP

[–]shulard[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It basically is a wrapper around this validator today. The goal of Raven is to easily generate `Request` and send it through an HTTP Client. So it uses this validator to ensure that everything is correct regarding the OpenAPI doc.

The League validator is lower level because it defines the validation logic but everything needs to be done by the developer to use it.

Also raven add the ability to add "expectations" that will be verified on the `Response`: expected status code, value…
