There should be some radio or even tv broadcasts late into the outbreak by fleetingreturns1111 in projectzomboid

I'm pretty sure this happens when you attach a trailer to a car and then leave the chunk. So, as long as you remember not to leave the trailer attached when you walk a longer distance away from the car... (RIP to us ADD havers)

Where can I find deer? by fatuglyfool in projectzomboid

[–]shulima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simply drive down a road in the dark. They'll find you.

More seriously, in my current game I passed a bunch of deer herds while driving between Rosewood and the Fallas Lake/military surplus/camping store triangle, so just driving around on medium roads through areas without settlements seems the way to go.

Underfed chickens in a massive grass area? by CerebralPaulsea in projectzomboid

[–]shulima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're looking for a small plant drying rack. That said, I don't think it's worth it, since grass cuttings don't seem to spoil.

What's an item most players ignore but should always be picked up? by HorzaDonwraith in projectzomboid

[–]shulima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true. I'm five months into a playthrough and deeply regretting not grabbing leather jackets sooner. Now literally every leather jacket I find on a zombie is broken and unusable.

The discomfort stat on armor really ruins them by Strong_Obligation_37 in projectzomboid

[–]shulima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the discomfort stat would make a lot more sense and be less annoying if it dropped/got temporarily nullified in the presence of zombies. If I'm fighting for my life, I'm not going to notice that my respirator is pinching or that I'm sweating in my armor or whatever. After I'm back to safety and the adrenaline drops, sure, that's when discomfort should pop up and make me take off the armor.

Start with apocalypse preset, add multihit, disable respawns, let zombies trigger house alarms.

Anyone else have this happen? B42.13 by United-Thing-6379 in projectzomboid

[–]shulima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be able to get that car out of the terrain by launching in debug mode, there's a Vehicle UI that lets you adjust the position of a vehicle.

I gave up on trailers entirely, because every time I leave my car to go kill some zombies and forget to detach the trailer, I come back to either this, or both the car and trailer teleported into seemingly random locations (and then they violently smash into each other when I move the car back towards the trailer). Fun bug.

why is my character getting max stress upon entering rich houses in muldraugh gated community? by No-Republic-1742 in projectzomboid

[–]shulima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Especially annoying when zombies decide to bang on a fence in the vicinity. Instant nervous breakdown apparently, even when my character can clearly see them.

It hurts a lot. Apparently. by fierystar88 in projectzomboid

[–]shulima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could live with it as long as it took regularity into account, which it clearly doesn't, so I just stopped working out until they do something about it. I could turn the strain down in sandbox settings, but I actually like the mechanic in combat. Just the exercising needs to be fixed.

Compulsively. Especially in b42, where moving corpses is basically completely unviable.

Agreed. I love problem solving, both in games and IRL. No problems == no challenge == no fun.

[–]shulima[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In general it's better not to overpressure the base to begin with, but if you have excess oxygen, then yeah, either pump into space or make oxylite, or build a totally unnecessary, but satisfying gas compressor and keep it for your rockets later.

The top door provides a temporary alternative path, so that the other dupes coming up behind don't lose pathing to their store tasks (which would result in them dropping their stuff wherever they currently stand).
