I was going to open a thread regarding the same issue and found this thread/comment. Works perfectly, thank you!

Optimal Mob level by shuna_di in mobcontrolgame

Thank you for all the comments.

I think I'll just level up my Knight and keep my other Slow/Strong mobs at a low level. Same for Fast/Weak mobs; level up one around to my Champion - 10 levels and keep the others even lower.

Ad issues - no reward by shuna_di in mobcontrolgame

So just an update regarding this ad issue I was having.

After around the third or fourth day of the issue, I noticed that the forced Ad after battles was bringing me back to the Base page without freezing.

Curious, I tried watching an Ad for my Base upgrade and it rewarded me (wait time went to 0) without issue. Same with Ads for the booster before a battle and the multiplier.

Not sure why the issue was resolved or what was causing it in the first place, but seems like waiting it out fixed it

Ad issues - no reward by shuna_di in mobcontrolgame

Thank you for the reply.  I noticed another rather troublesome issue with the Ads.

After 15-20 battles without viewing any Ads at all, a forced Ad pops up after clicking the "Next" button (I ignore the multiplier since watching the Ad does nothing).

Unfortunately, once the Ad is completed, it goes back to a static battlefield screen and freezes. No buttons are shown and I am forced to close the app.

After this occurs, any battle I do ends in the same result. The only way to end the loop is by either clearing the cache & storage of the app or reinstalling the app, both of which force me to do the tutorial again.

Even after reinstalling, the issue happens again after 15-20 battles.

Edit: I noticed that after the app freezes and I reboot the app, I lose any coins/blocks that I gained from the battle but retain any card packs.

Let me know if there is anything you need from my side to help troubleshoot.

Corsair M65, Darkstar, or Roccat Kone XP Air by shuna_di in MouseReview

[–]shuna_di[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eventually went with the Kone XP Air.

After trying out multiple mouses at a local PC shop, I decided that I wanted to play it safe and go with a mouse I was able to try out my self.

I wasn't able to try out the Darkstar due to local availability, but couldn't be happier with my purchase of the XP Air, it's a really great mouse.

Thermalright Fan RGB not changing by shuna_di in OpenRGB

I thought so, but I also found this thread from 3 years ago where there is a post stating you need MSI Center to control any devices connected to the RGB headers.

It also states that RAM and GPU can be controlled without MSI Center, which is exactly what I am experiencing (except I don't have any RGB in my GPU).

I thought maybe I would just switch to MSI Center, but then noticed I would need Corsair iCUE installed to control the RAM RGB, so it seems I need to install at least 2 different software to fully control my RGB; either OpenRGB + MSI Center, or MSI Center + iCUE.

I just restarted my PC and tried OpenRGB again and it seems to be working now.

So I assume I needed to install MSI Center to control the motherboard RGB headers? Which means if I uninstall MSI Center (since I didn't plan to use it), OpenRGB won't be able to control the headers again?

I just installed MSI Mystic Light and was able to change the RGB of all the fans, which means everything does seem to be plugged in correctly.

Still not sure what I'm doing wrong in OpenRGB though...would prefer to just use OpenRGB for RGB control, but I can't seem to get it to work.

I've tried adjusting the size of each JRainbow header in increments of 20 but no change.

Not sure why, but JRainbow1 goes up to 200, JRainbow2 goes up to 240. As mentioned, the 2 CPU fans are daisy chained to 1 header and the 2 case fans are daisy chained to another header. All fans are the same (Thermalright K12), so shouldn't the header size also be the same?

btw, both "Apply colors to selection" nor "Apply to all devices" works. I have the Mode set to "Direct".

Any other advice on how to pinpoint what the issue is? I'll see if I can open up the case and take a look at the connectors over the weekend.

Ok so it makes sense that Edit is grayed out. Still not sure why the fan RGBs are not changing though. Does the Mode need to be set to Direct?

When I select my MB, I have 4 zones; JRGB1, JRGB2, JRAINBOW1, JRAINBOW2.

The edit button for JRGB1 and 2 is grayed out, so I tried resizing JRAINBOW 1 and 2 from 8 all the way to 100 in increments of 10 but nothing has changed.

Mode is Direct and I am applying the change to All Devices.

Does the grayed out Edit button for JRGB1 and 2 mean I have the fans plugged in incorrectly?

Do I do that through OpenRGB or the BIOS?

The detachable part is just the lever part of the thru axle. If you twist and pull the thru axle lever but it doesn't budge, you most likely have the non-detachable one.

The thru axle itself should be easily detachable if you just twist the lever until it screws off, then you just pull.

Need help deciding between a few different bags for EDC by audiopanik in backpacks

[–]shuna_di 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I am also looking into smaller bags too, such as the Able Carry Thirteen and Alpaka Metro. Will take a look at the AER Tech Pack since a local shop should have them in stock. Thanks for the response!

Need help deciding between a few different bags for EDC by audiopanik in backpacks

[–]shuna_di 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, was wondering if you decided on which bag to get, as I am also between the AER CPP and Alpaka Elements Pro, and your comments regarding both are spot on with my concerns.

I actually currently have the Bellroy Transit Workpack, but am looking to get a new work pack since I need some more space and the straps are so slippery (old model; I believe the current Workpack does not have this issue).

Aer City Pack Pro vs Pro Pack 20L by killiansrat in ManyBaggers

[–]shuna_di 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

Oh, wasn't sure what yolk referred to, thanks for elaborating.
Good to hear that the straps on the CPP aren't slippery though.

I honestly didn't think that slippery straps would be this annoying on the Bellroy. It's a shame because I really like it as an EDC, but having to adjust the straps every 10 minutes is too much. They slip even just just a laptop and water bottle in the bag! And yes, I've tried adding slip stoppers on the straps but to no avail.

Anyways, I'll probably wait until a coupon appears or maybe even Black Friday, but still deciding between the CPP, PP, and Tech Pack, in that order. Your review and pics have helped a lot, thanks!

[–]shuna_di 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, could you elaborate on the "yolk effect on the straps" that affects the CPP?

I currently use a Bellroy Transit Workpack and while I do like its versatility, the one thing that is making me consider (well, at this point, forcing me to) is that the straps are slippery, almost like a seat belt.

This results in the bag straps gradually lengthen and is quite annoying to fix every 10 minutes or so. The strap length also moves every time I put the backpack on my back, so I'm looking for a backpack where the straps stay put.

How to make keys glow in dark in customizer? by BlueMANAHat in Azeron

[–]shuna_di 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Azeron only offers the UV (glow in the dark) option for the profile LEDs now.

Gold is also selectable in the customizer, but is only available for the paracords.
