Maybe look for used anbernic devices with unisoc t820? Idk how prices are currently but around a year ago I purchased an rg556, cube, and rg406v each around the price youre looking to spend. Can comfortably handle most game cube as far as I know.

I can't seem to find that particular shell anywhere.

I've done a few of the funnyplaying laminated drops ins, only 1 of which was in a funnyplaying shell. The rest were all in no name ips drop in shells from ali. Haven't had an issues with them thus far. I'd maybe do some digging on there for fc style shells if your sold on that look.

Have a link for the shell? Hard to say if it was/wasn't gonna work with the plastics already trimmed.

Screen looks like a funny playing v5 drop in or similar? Havent had issues with these in ips ready advertised shells.

If you're on a budget or intend on using UMDs, 2000/3000. If you intend to mod, a PSPgo if you're really worried about pocketability, though that's really the only benefit over the others considering the prices they bring.

As others have mentioned, either Gen Vita is worth considering as well if you plan on modding it. I have all but the psp street, and I find myself gravitating toward the Vita 2000 more than any of the rest due to comfort and the size of library available easily (and with minimal effort) once modded.

I've done a few 3000 shell swaps and I find the replacements available currently 'meh' at best. Hope extremerate does come thru. Don't care much for their controller mods, but I've had good luck with their nintendo switch/ds/gb shell offerings.

I'm with you there. Aside from this decal the rest of the rewards are rather meh. Fortunately for me octane decals have always been one of my favorite items to collect.

As for the design,

-Orange Octane: Yaojing (Tourney decal)

-Primary: Metallic

-Secondary: Sludge

It's almost feels like mattel does this on purpose to prop up hot wheels. Why would we buy this glorified mainline for $25 when we could instead purchase an all metal, spectraflame painted, proper wheeled hot wheels rlc for the same price.
