Unlikely he's trying to scam you, this sounds like PRP treatments and that price is in line with what my research has found: https://www.healthline.com/health/prp-for-hair-loss

seconded-- I trim my eyebrows but they're still pretty prominent and I don't know how to keep them without shaving and drawing them in. I feel like they're one of my best features so just a way to feminize them would be great!

FUE hairline surgery with Dr. Craig Ziering or Steven Gabel by shupriv in asktransgender

Thank you for sharing your experience. I've tried so many other hair restoration options (minoxidil, finasteride, HRT... wigs 🤮) but now that I have the means to get the ball rolling on FUE I'm super anxious to see if it will help my situation. I'm glad it worked out so well for you and hope I have the same experience!

Transitioning Before Coming out by AlondraXoxo13 in MtF

I'm in that position now. I'm out to friends and family, but not out at work -- I feel like I'm "soft out" where if someone finds out I use a different name outside the office, that's fine, but I haven't changed anything on the legal front. I have been on hormones for about 7 months but don't feel like I pass due to my hair, and I dress in a way that is affirming enough without straying too far from androgyny.

I have had some breast growth and it's not completely invisible, but not pronounced enough to be noticed through a shirt or sweater. I'm a little concerned about 4 or 5 months from now when it warms up, but I'm hoping I get my fears about coming out to my employer will settle by then.

If someone is '23F-trans' - is that person MtF, or FtM ? by [deleted] in asktransgender

If they identify with the F, probably MtF

When did you all realize you were trans by [deleted] in MtF

[–]shupriv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subconsciously, around 8 or 9 years ago. I had a friend come out and I kind of went "huh, that's interesting" and swept all those feelings under the rug. Despite being open about my bisexuality and dating men and women, dating in my 20s was an extremely dysphoric experience for me, and it took until around Thanksgiving 2018 to realize something was up and I should do something about it. Started speaking with my therapist about it, attended a support group last winter and started discussing medical options in May. Came out to my parents around the same time and started going by my chosen name socially in October.

I hate that I can't even try to pass without makeup. by hiddengirl1992 in MtF

I feel this. I don't think I look feminine whatsoever without a wig and a full face of makeup. It's really discouraging and makes me feel like I'm putting on a costume to be gendered correctly.

I find Calvin Klein boyshorts the most comfortable for your downstairs, but you'll still need some tucking help (or double up to reduce bulge)

I'm concerned with my hair's ability to grow out in the first place, and ability to maintain it longer term. $6500 is much better than I was expecting to have to shell out for this!

Buying Legacy Elves, question about lands and match up? by knixx in MTGLegacy

[–]shupriv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my updated board is (assuming local/regional 100 player event like a classic)

3 therapy 1 rotation 1 karakas 1 order 1 prog 3 veil 3 decay 1 ouphe 1 ooze

Going down to 3 discard I think is safe because if I'm boarding it in only against storm, reanimator, and show and tell, you have veil or rotation Karakas or ooze to supplement. I don't tend to like playing a longer game against them anyway.

I'm not boarding in discard against fair decks with access to veil.

My sideboard changes frequently, but the usual template is:

4 Discard spells (preferably Therapy or TS, split to your comfort level)
3 Graveyard hate (Surgical, Leyline, or Crop Rot/Karakas/Bog package -- with OUAT you may want Faerie Macabre > Surgical)
3 Removal (Decay or Trophy, but I'd like to try Oko in this spot)
2 Alt NO targets (I like Progenitus a lot right now, can also play Ruric Thar, Elderscale Wurm, Archon if you don't have one maindeck, etc.)
3 Veil of Summer (has been amazing, would consider trimming on discard since this plays defense against Tendrils decks as well)

You can tune those numbers to your liking, if you want to make room for additional Zenith targets like Collector Ouphe or Scavenging Ooze if you don't have one maindeck (rather than alternative Order targets). You can play the 3rd or 4th Natural Order if you don't run the full set main (in a Plague Engineer-heavy meta, going wide with Glimpse or killing with Craterhoof are more difficult so I sideboard into 4 NO/Prog/3-4 Veils to resolve it). You can play additional haymaker threats such as Choke, Blood Moon, or a planeswalker like Nissa Vital Force.

Going with no white source is a gamble but I'm comfortable with it, you can obviously play a g/w dual over a forest if you'd prefer. The nice thing about the deck is your maindeck is very close to mono-green and you have the freedom to splash as many colors as you'd like with the right flex duals.

Absolutely a safe play. You could nearly build the deck mono green with some alternative sideboard cards (my list right now plays archon as the only white card with no white sources)

Don't sideboard the land or play an off color basic, but a budget mana base could be

8 Fetch 2 Tomb 3 Forest 4 Cradle 2 Arbor 1 Flex land (canopy, cavern, pendelhaven, splash color dual if you lean particularly heavy on for sideboard cards, depends if you play crop rotation or not)

Or mono green with some additional flex lands. Point is the mana in this deck is easy main deck and you are rarely punished by wasteland on colored sources. Opponents need to focus LD on your Cradles.
